CWH Got a Makeover!🕺🏽

Hi!👋 If we haven't met in Hive posts, comments, in live events, or IRL Hive events, I'd like to introduce myself.

My name is @alessandrawhite and I'm founder of @creativeworkhour. I've been on the chain for 3 1/2 years and I onboarded my pre-existing nonprofit organisation to Hive within weeks of joining.

Since then I have eyed some drop-dead gorgeous Hive posts! 👀 As I've asked around and engaged with friends in comments, I have drooled 🤤 at the layouts, the graphics, the photography, the typography and the badges. Here and there I'd pick up ideas and make notes for a later time when I could pull together my own grit and talent to make some progress. This week was "a later time."

Leading up to this reveal, I've had good chats with @amiegeoffrey, @ph1102, @roswelborges @sagarkothari88, @shadowspub, @steevec and @tibfox that inspired me to keep striving to create a format that is intriguing, clear, and fun to scroll.

As Paul Valery wrote, "A poem is never finished, only abandoned," so this format to highlight what we are creating on and off chain will continue to evolve over time. As a designer and writer, I'm absolutely giddy to reveal the new look of CWH.

Who Are CWH & What We Do

Creative Work Hour is a community, a creative incubator, and a daily HIVE-staking project. We have hosted more than 3000 events since founded by @alessandrawhite on 1 July, 2021. Every single day we host no fewer than three events.

The first, #cuppajoe is a casual hang out, a coffee break. The second, Creative Work Hour #cwh is our flagship event that powers up daily. The third, Practice Not Perfect #pnp is our bonus event designed for muted music practice and for creative work to continue.
