Unlike many other people, I didn't watch so much animations and high school movies as a kid and it is a general knowlege that they are usually filled with lots of musicals. With this, you might think I wouldn't be a big fan of musical movies but that is not true at all. I love them so much! I have seen many musical movies and some actually stand out for me. Honestly, I cannot talk about just one because I do not have a favourite, I connect with them on really different levels.

I saw MOANA for the first time in 2017, when I was working as a sales representative in an electrical store. The owner of the store has three beautiful daughters and they were into all those animation movies and all. They told their uncle to put Moana on that faithful day and I joined them in watching it. I fell in love with the entirety of the movie that same day and I will be begging those kids to let us watch Moana again and again. They eventually got tired of my obsession with the movie🤣 I love the songs in the movie but I do have favorites -- Where you are, How far I'll go, I am Moana, and You're welcome.

Another movie I really enjoyed the musicals was THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, I don't think there is a single song in that movie that I do not love. I will even watch it again one of these days, the storyline is very great and the songs are very interesting. Each song has different stories attached to them and that makes most musical movies extremely magical and beautiful as well.

Also, there are some Korean Dramas that their musicals really stood out for me. Korean dramas are not exactly musical movies except for those that are music based, but then, they do have really nice songs to match the emotions going on with the acts and they are usually made specially for the movies. Some of the Dramas that really had some outstanding songs based on my personal judgement are Goblin, Love rain, Boys over flowers, The Alchemy of souls, Dong Yi, City hunter, Queen of tears, and so much more. I really can't pick favorites, sorryyy.

Nowww, talking about Bollywood!!! We all know it is very hard to see an indian movie without songs in it. It will even come with series of performances and it's a cultural thing; one that is very beautiful. I have grown to love Inidan movies, been watching them since I was young and I can even remember songs from some of them. I love the songs from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Jaan war, Najin, Najina, Pyaar Impossible, Ghajini and so many others! Honestly, it will be a long list if I decide to deliberately sit down and write them down, and yes, I love the songs from them so much.

I can't ever forget to mention the animation movie titled Coco! This post will be incomplete without it🤣 I love Un Poco Loco so much! I am listening right now and dancing the night away💃.

Oh, there is Lion King too! Who doesn't love Lion King and the musicals from it?

Truth is, there are still many other ones but these are the ones I can remember at the moment. I love musical movies so much, they keep me more glued to the story and they generally make the movies a lot more interesting. Infact, I think I will watch one before I go to bed, or better still, just rewatch one of the ones I mentioned in this post.

Thanks for reading ❤️

Right when I was thinking what of indian movies, I found it in the next paragraph. Now I can say the post is complete. You can not talk about musical movies without putting indians in the story because 99.9% of their movies always have music and dances to them.

Yeah, I like that about them so much. I cannot even forget mentioning them. I like the fact that they stuck to that culture since that time till this moment, despite civilization.

I still sing to Lion King this day. A movie I watched as a child and the songs are still gold in my opinion. As for Bollywood, I love the soundtracks and musicals from Bang Bang and Student of the Year 1. Goblin had to have had the best soundtrack, and Business Proposal too… oh King The Land too. I listen to their OSTs on a normal.

Bollywood movies are so colourful but all the music sounds the same to me, I could not have any stand out! The Greatest Showman was a true film musical and I enjoyed that. Good choices.

Lol, I guess that's because of their language, but then, they are always so so nice.

Yeah, The Greatest Showman is evergreen, very nice movie!

Thank you so much for your comment.

I love animation movies a lot, and I enjoy the musicals that go with them. Also when it comes to Indian movies, you must see me there hehehe. I deliberately spend less time with these things now to focus more on my work, but sometimes I do take a pip🤣.

Lol, you are definitely not the only one that hasn't seen Moana. However, you should see it soon to get your name off that list🤣

I love Moana to the moon and back. Just like you, I watched it over and over because each time it still feels like a new movie.
I've given up on Bollywood movies anymore, they are overdoing some things making it boring. Moreover almost all their movies have same storyline..

Awwww, I guess we have that in common😊😊

Ohh, I guess this is about their actions now and not necessarily the music. If its that, I totally agree with you, they lie too much in their movies.

I enjoyed some of the Korean movies you mentioned and yes, their music are amazing especially boys over flowers, those songs played at some certain scenes made me cry. Then city hunters and Alchemy of souls, those songs are topnotch. Korean movies are trying. Same with Bollywood movies. Oh my! I wonder how they got time for their cultural dances. Lol
The songs are always filled with emotions and it is what fascinates me to watching those genres of movies.
