MUSIC AND LYRICS: JON BELLION'S HUMAN

Writing about one of my favorite songs of all time feels so good, for real. As a matter of fact, Jon Bellion is also one of my favorite artists. He is such a talented song writer, his lyrics are always so rich and deep. The first time I heard 'human', I was on a journey to my hometown. I connected to the song so much, and it was on repeat for a very long time. It kept my company throughout the whole journey.

Human is like a lyrical illustration of a typical conscience of an average human. Our state of mind, struggles, fears, questions, excuses, priorities and so much more. As humans, we often feel like there is a particular point and time we'll get to and everything will feel so perfect. We'll hurt no more and we'll feel so much at peace. It takes a deep thinker to realize that all these things are fully up to us, and we can make me most of the present time.

Being human can be very frustrating, honestly. Sometimes you'll feel like you are doing everything right and sometimes, you'll feel like you are doing everything wrong. We sometimes prioritize the wrong thing and only realize after, then beat ourselves up about it. We have fears about the future because we don't know what it holds, but we have no choice but to see it through.

We complain so much about not having enough time to do some important thing, but low-key, we waste time a lot on some unimportant things.

I feel human is one song that so many people can relate to, even if it's on different levels. You probably know this song, but then, how does listening to it again sound?
