Latin Rock with Los Bunkers for this #ttt
Hello, Hivers and music lovers!
It's Tuesday and that in Hive means a day to discover songs or listen to old hits.
For me today is a day of discovery. Earlier today I was chatting with my son via video call and asked him if he had discovered some new music to share with me. He told me that he had been stuck for days listening to a Chilean rock band called Los Bunkers.
Although the band was formed in 1999, it was the first time I had heard of it. But listening to one song made me want to keep listening.
Los Bunker is an alternative rock band formed in 1999 in Concepcion, Chile. In 2014 they split up and in 2022 they went back to the show. I think they are good and it amazes me that I had never heard them before, and neither had my hubby. Maybe it's because Chilean rock didn't have as much projection as Argentinean or Mexican rock but if I know one thing is that Los Bunkers should be better known.
And as always musical Tuesdays around here are thanks to the #threetunetuesday initiative started by @ablaze, and before I get into the tunes, let me give you a little background for those of you who aren't familiar with #threetunetuesday. In the words of @ablaze:
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
You can find out more at ablaze's post with his recommendations for this week the #157.
And without further ado, let's go with the tunes.
Tune 1 - Los Bunkers - Llueve Sobre la Ciudad
Llueve Sobre la Ciudad, I think it is the song I like the most of what I listened to so far. It is part of the album Vida de Perros released in 2005 and was one of their first hits in Chile.
Tune 2 - Los Bunkers - Nada Nuevo Bajo el Sol
Nada Nuevo Bajo el Sol is a single from the 2008 album Barrio Estación.
Tune 3 - Los Bunkers - La Exiliada del Sur
La Exiliada del Sur was a poem by the well-known Chilean singer-songwriter Violeta Parra. This version by Los Bunkers is great and is part of their Album La Culpa released in 2003.
Have you ever listened to Los Bunkers? If you liked the songs, which one did you like the most? Tell me in the comments.
It has nothing to do with music, but I haven't posted with my account using InLeo for a while. I've heard that there are much less bugs so I'm giving it a try and testing to see how it goes.
Thank you very much for reading!
Enjoy the music, and enjoy life!

Thank you for the support:)
This is the first time listening to them and I quite like the first two tunes, maybe the 2nd is my favourite. It is amazing how popular the band seems, yet I didn't hear about them.
I'm also surprised I haven't heard of them before, but apparently they are very well known and popular in their country Chile but not so in other Latam countries.
Keep Jamming!
They are cool Super Eli🔷💙 and I had not heard of them before!
Mind you I don't know many bands from Chile!
