A golden silk orb weaver

Hello, Hivers and music lovers!

These days a mechanic came to check the air conditioning of our car and the husband took the car out of the garage and parked it outside the building very close to a place where there was a lot of vegetation, and there he discovered it, a golden silk orb weaver. Of course, he called me to go see it and I went down right away.

These spiders are so-called golden silk spiders because the spider web they weave has golden threads. You can see some golden threads in the photo.

From what I found out about them, they are not poisonous. But still at some point, while I was taking pictures, I got scared because the spider seemed uncomfortable, maybe because of my proximity, and got into attack position.

So I let it be. But I went back home humming a song that I hadn't listened to in a long time, and it has been in my head ever since. So I said to myself here's a #ttt. One a little out of the ordinary inspired by a golden silk spider.

The song is by a Mexican composer of ranchera named Jose Alfredo Jimenez, who composed the song for his wife Alicia Juarez. The song is called La Araña. It has been covered many times.

But before I get into the tunes, let me give you a little background for those of you who aren't familiar with #threetunetuesday. In the words of @ablaze, who started the initiative.

The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

You can find out more at ablaze's post with his recommendations for this last week the #129.

And without further ado, let's go with the tunes.

Tune 1 - Ana Gabriel - La Araña

One version of the song that I like is the cover by the Mexican singer Ana Gabriel. I think her voice is perfect for this song and it is very much in her style.

Ya estas tejiendo la red
Como en aquella mañana
En que te di mi querer
Cuando te vi en tu ventana
Muy tarde vine a saber
Que te llamaban la araña

You're already weaving the web
As on that morning
When I gave you my love
When I saw you at your window
Too late I came to know
That they called you the spider

Tune 2 - Noel Petro - La Araña

There is a cover of this song, that I discovered after I met my husband. I don't remember when I heard it for the first time, but it was in one of our visits to Maracaibo the city where he was born and where his family lives. This cover of La Araña is by a Colombian singer of traditional music and vallenatos called Noel Petro. He was popularly known as El Burro Mocho.

Maracaibo is a border city with Colombia and traditional Colombian music is commonly heard there. It is a version with tropical rhythms. My mother-in-law liked it a lot.

Tune 3 - Guillermo Buitriago - La Araña Picúa

This last song is a discovery for me. I had never heard it until now preparing this post. It was a suggestion from my husband. It is also a song by a Colombian musician who was very popular in the first half of the twentieth century and whose songs transcended over time, his name is Guillermo Buitriago and the song is called La Araña Picúa.

Yo vi una araña con pelo, yo vi una araña con pelos
En el alar de mi casa
Con rabo y con cuatro patas, con rabo y con cuatro patas
Y tenía forma de cangrejo

I saw a hairy spider, I saw a hairy spider
On the eave of my house
With a tail and with four legs, with a tail and with four legs
And it was shaped like a crab

A #ttt very different from the ones I usually do but fun 🕷😄

What a beautiful spider, dear friend @coquicoin, and what a peculiar fabric, the first time I have seen that they are golden.
I loved the song that your husband suggested, it has a beautiful rhythm, and Ana Gabriel's song is really beautiful and very catchy, I'm not surprised that you have it in your head now, and the third video is a real find.
Beautiful selection, I finished reading and commenting on the post listening to your musical selection
Have a beautiful night

I can pick up a little here and there. I only took two years in school, so while I know some vocabulary, I can't speak it or write it.

Yes, spiders bite and very hard. A friend of my mother's who by the way is my neighbor since lives in the same building as us in the PB and her apartment has a small garden. She was bitten by a spider in her garden. I don't know if it was the same kind of spider but she ended up in the hospital. So as soon as I saw this one in attack position, I moved away quickly, hehe.
