"Allegro assai vivace" from Sonata No. 1 - Felix Mendelssohn (live recording at Vigil Mass)

This was the postlude at the end of Vigil Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Albury, on 23 August 2025.

Mendelssohn's 1st Sonata in F minor will be a very special work for me as my organ teacher has specifically requested that I learn this to play at his funeral. He is a very organised man and still with us (thankful for all his time on Earth). I hope you enjoy the final movement from this Sonata.
