That's true sha but to make work faster, some artiste are making use of AI to make it faster.
I guess why many people use those ghost producers is they don't want to be attached to a particular producer by people

I realise why artists use AI and ghost producers, in the electronic segment, most of those cannot create the music themselves. My question was more along the lines of: When artists is not able to create their own music through instruments and drum computers (hardware/software), can they be called artists? I know, even using a drum computer and synthesizer one can argue that someone is an artist (eg tons of classical instrumentalists shit on electronic producers). If someone who uses AI in whatever way or form, producing music, is called an artist, soon-ish 8 Billions people in the world can be called artists. I guess when that happens, we need to redefine what an artist is for artists who go the extra mile to be recognised as such.
Absolutely true. I think they can still be called an artist to an extent
The main issue is our society has given a new definition of what an artist should actually be
