RE: One and Only (cover by @maiasun84) - Vibes Web3 Music Week 40 [ENG-ESP]

Hello beautiful voice, you've probably received lots of compliments!
However, I’d like to focus your attention, if you’re open to some advice from a NO ONE, on thinking less about the video and just letting yourself go more.
It seems like you’re worried about the success of the performance, and I wonder why?
In my opinion, you're ruining the natural experience — the one that ultimately transmits true vibrations to the listeners.
I’m not sure if I’ve managed to make myself clear, but anyway, well done.
Maybe next time, you could try something more "aggressive," like rap, rock or country! 🤠
Thanks for sharing.🥰

Of course, I understand what you're saying, and I appreciate the advice. Certainly, I'm at a disadvantage in this contest. I don't have the technical resources to achieve the quality I would like, and this competition deserves.

I can't convince myself of what I'm doing because I'm constantly worried about the ambient sound, which repeatedly ruins the recording. After 12 or 14 takes of a song, my mood and dedication are affected by the environment.

You could also ask me: why are you participating then? The answer is very simple: I need to sing.

As for compliments, there aren't that many. In fact, it's my worst post in terms of interactions and feedback since I participated in the competition.

For most Cubans, it's not easy to share in this space because we sing from the heart,, without access to good editing programs, with connection and electrical problems, waiting for the barking dog, the crying child, the neighbor fixing a window...

But Vibes gives us and gives me the space to sing the music I love. Oh, I've already sung rock, blues, jazz, country, rumba flamenco... rap doesn't resonate much with my old and nostalgic soul, lol.

Thank you for appreciating my modest entry. I send my greetings and hugs of light.

Hi, the desire and need to sing can be read in your eyes; it's hard to ignore, and those who do ignore it deny the evidence. Remember that it's not perfection that transmits emotions to others through music, but the person itself. So forget about perfection and just go for it!! Good luck, and once again, THANK YOU for sharing.
