For my Week 166 entry in the @afri-tunes community I will be doing a song cover of imole'de by Dusin.

Imole De’ is a yoruba phrase from South-Western Nigeria, literally meaning “Light is here.”

This song celebrates the essence of light. Light is an intoxicant. Darkness is blinding. It prevents you from realizing what is available to you and as long as you remain in the dark, the provisions you have will mean nothing because you don’t know they are available anyway. For as long as you are in the dark about your redemptive rights, you will continue to suffer from the devil’s manipulations.
