Should've Learned By Now
One of these days I'll learn that a good night's sleep and coffee after sunset are never found in the same day. Not today though. It's not one of those lessons that I particularly want to learn, I like my coffee and have never been overly fond of sleep.
Besides, being wired when you should be tired is when all the best bad ideas come to you. Coffee is a poor substitute for cocaine but I did manage to learn that was bad. Still, one's as good as the other for coming up with mischief to get into.
Less legal entanglements with coffee though. Nowadays most of my mischief at two in the morning consists of seeing what weirdness I can get out of MidJourney.
Earthworm spaghetti cereal, anyone? Should've learned by now that this was going to end badly. Just learned today of Three Tune Tuesday (thanks @scubahead) so I thought I'd play along. The link above is to the song by Lucero that gave this post its title. Saw'em play it live a few weeks back and they were rocking.
You know that fourth pot of coffee was a bad idea when you catch yourself telling MidJourney to /imagine Fear and Loathing in the mashed potatoes.
Airstrike at the OK Corral is probably questionable too. Like what the fuck is that coming out of the building? And why? Oh well, in case you can't tell, I can't grow up, cause I'm too old now. That's Peter Pan by James McMurtry, one of my favorite tunes for those occasions when you should have learned by now but do it anyway.
One thing I have learned is that the list of words that are banned on MidJourney is kind of absurd. Tried to see what 'the bare absurdities of life' would get me but bare is apparently banned. The bear absurdities of life worked just fine, or maybe even better.
Have you been living the dream? Had a ticket to see Sturgill Simpson play that tune in May of 2020 but covid killed that, still haven't gotten to see him play.
One of the things that I have managed to learn by now is that me and alcohol don't mix. Or rather mix too well. Here in the US there's an organization called MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. In my bourbon and vodka daze days we would joke about being members of DAMM, Drunks Against Mad Mothers, so naturally I had to see what MidJourney thought of that.
Sometimes you're just so caffeinated that you just word salad all over the place. The prompt for this was just five words, I'll give 1 HIVE to the first person to correctly guess at least three of them.
Holidays make for good MidJourney fodder. With Easter fast approaching I couldn't not mark the occasion with AI art. Feel free to use this for all your Easter cards you send out.
Now if you need me, I'll be sailing on a censorship. Who else has something they should've learned by now?

I wonder if there's an accessible list of forbidden words you could circumvent with a thesaurus and some perverse creativity.

Sent you a HIVE just now. I'd formatted it a little differently just words and commas rather than a complete sentence but shrimp, cigarette, and space were definitely 3 of the words. Tornado and surreal were the only ones you didn't get.
I'd kind of doubt it, they threaten to suspend your account if you circumvent the filter. MidJourney is supposed to be PG-13 but with the way English language is the bans interfere with a lot of innocuous stuff too. Lol, circumventing filters (and bans) has always been one of my favorite forms of entertainment, it wouldn't be too difficult to do with MidJourney I think.
Marshmallow, fish, squid, space, stars, astronomy, void, excretion.
I could keep making guesses, but I don't use Hive as money, and I'm only really seeing if I can guess any.
