Come On Up To The House

Moseyed down to Nepton, Kentucky yesterday for Loving Farm's Earth Day festivities.

This year made the third year in a row that Marietta and Perriee have thrown a shindig for this rock we live on.

The scene of the crime was once again the tobacco barn turn Nepton Warehouse, with music and vendors selling vegan food, beer, coffee, and handmade pottery.

This time around there was some new things as well, a soundbath and a bug walk, but my misplaced sense of timing got us there too late to catch much of it.

Made it to the farm just in time to catch the second band setting up to play. Originally billed as the duo Twig & Leaf, they'd picked up a third member and I believe we playing as the All Rounders.

If the musicians look a bit familiar, it's highly likely you've seen them before. They've performed at the first two Earth Day fiestas as the group Highly Likely but were a few members shy of the full band.

They were jamming good, so much so even the neighbors across the creek were enjoying it.

The art making, sign painting station was back again and as big a hit as ever. Some of the signs from the previous year's fun were visible out in the fields.

The gathering was as much about community and bringing people together as it was Mother Nature, but they're different sides of the same coin.

Nepton isn't a big place but the community still turned out to support their neighbors, which is music to my ears.

About time to sing out and head on up to the house for the evening. Have to start making plans for next years festivities...

It looks like a lot of fun and a good time!
Sending you some Ecency love!
Cheers!
