Hello, dear friends. I want to let you know things I understand and read about music of any type, especially African music.
Music is something that changes the atmosphere around you and makes you get inspired by the beat or by the lyrics of the song. Music is a medicine 💊💉 to the heart ❤️
What is Music itself?
From the definition I got from my research in the books I have read both library and online Music is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant form through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.

Now let us relate music to our life, and what we are going through, whether bad or good, music can raise someone's mood, get them excited, or make them calm and relaxed. Music is so important to your situation, it encourages you when you are down and thinking, and it will lift your spirits.
It also allows us to feel nearly or possibly all emotions that we experience in our lives.
Someone like me, I love to listen to African music because of the melody and the instruments like Gangan, Bata, Omele, saworo, and shekere as we have for Yoruba so as for Igbo and Benin in Nigeria.
There is a particular song I so much like until now even though I don't understand the lyrics, but I dance it as if I know what the singer is saying (Awilologonba). It was sung in the French language. Anytime I listen to this song, there is no way I will not be happy to dance and even start humming the lyrics lol.
So, in conclusion, music can make you feel good, even when you are down and you don't know what to do, look for gospel music or any regular songs to listen to, I believe you will be happy after listening because the wordings of the lyrics can melt your heart and make you happy.

Music is life,we cannot do without music.
Have you ever imagined having any kind of events without music being played.Even if it's a burial ceremony,we play solemn music.
