Hello everyone welcome to the 34th week of vibes Web3 Music Competition. As you all know my name is @coderaikiri, the guy with the moves and for entry I'll be presenting a song from the Senegalese American artiste titled locked up.
Locked up is a reflection of the artiste's true life experience in the prison system. He talks about what it feels to lose one's freedom and all the privileges attached to it. He starts it up by narrating that leads up to his arrest, being at fault for everything, he admits to the crime of selling illegal substances which was the very cost of his predicament. He also highlights the fact that the reason he was caught was because of his friends that were working with the securities indirectly expressing that we should be weary of who we call friends as they possess the information needed to cause us harm and not hesitate to use it against us.
In the end Akon talks about his family, how much he misses and how they pray he does the right thing so that he remains his freedom after serving time behind bars.
Locked up which was released on the 5th of April is not just your average hit with sweet melodies to make it unique, it is also the story of a man's life

Hola a todos, bienvenidos a la semana 34 de la competencia de música Vibes Web3. Como todos saben, mi nombre es @coderaikiri, el chico con los movimientos, y para esta entrada presentaré una canción del artista senegalés-estadounidense titulada Locked Up.

Locked Up es un reflejo de la verdadera experiencia del artista en el sistema penitenciario. Habla sobre lo que se siente perder la libertad y todos los privilegios que conlleva. Comienza narrando los hechos que lo llevaron a ser arrestado, asumiendo la culpa de todo. Admite haber cometido el crimen de vender sustancias ilegales, lo cual fue la causa principal de su situación.

También destaca que la razón por la que fue atrapado se debió a sus amigos, quienes colaboraron con las autoridades, expresando indirectamente que debemos tener cuidado con a quién llamamos amigos, ya que poseen información que puede perjudicarnos y no dudarán en usarla en nuestra contra.

Al final, Akon habla sobre su familia, cuánto los extraña y cómo ellos rezan para que haga lo correcto y así pueda conservar su libertad después de cumplir su condena.

Locked Up, que fue lanzada el 5 de abril, no es solo un éxito con melodías pegajosas que lo hacen único, sino también la historia de la vida de un hombre.
