Hello everyone, welcome to the 253rd edition of Hive Open Mic as you already know I'm coderaikiri and I'll be doing a song cover titled Latch by Smith . This is actually my first time posting hive Open Mic and I sincerely hope I follow all the rules correctly and my song falls into the category of the theme which is DEAR DIARY.
The song latch was released on the 8th of October in the year 2012 by the renowned British singer and songwriter on disclosure's debut studio album. The song is centered on primarily love and a very intense emotional connection for that special someone. The singer- Sam smith speaks of how he is completely locked on the emotions of his significant other and he is never letting go .
I don't even know why the song spoke so much volumes to me but immediately I saw the theme of the week, the first thing that came into my mind was latch. I believe the singer is actually speaking to himself with a netaphoric diary so to me this song fits into the DEAR DIARY theme like a glove.
