Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I'm getting back to sharing some music, let’s get into it!

Three Tune Tuesday

Music is one of my favorite things to relax to, as many people can also probably have similar experiences. My musical tastes are incredibly diverse, I think. I can enjoy some really heavy gangster rap (not the radio trash), some metal, country, classical and so many others in between.

One of the coolest things about music is that all of the different kinds have their unique qualities to them and reasons that we listen to them. Some are more chill, others are upbeat and getting you motivated.

There is a post series Three Tune Tuesday by a bunch of people but it's all organized by @ablaze, one of the coolest dudes from Ireland around!

This Week's Choice: Alternative Rock

I think that I will try to confine the post to be 2 or 3 songs of the particular topic to keep it shorter and so that people can listen to one or all of the songs without taking too much time!

Info

Way more important to me though, is sharing a song with me! It doesn't have to be anything related at all to what my choices are but I would love for you to share a song or two with me!

Hoobastank - The Reason

3 Doors Down - Kryptonite

Crazytown - Butterfly

Yeah they are really classic songs of the 90's and early 2000's! I don't love some of them but they have fond memories attached so I listen to them lol

I cannot believe that you have Butterfly on here wtf!?! 😂😂 My gawd, whatta classic...

Also The Reason... Beautiful song, I have a soft spot for it, it's really evolved with me over the years. So many different people have been the reason, and now it is my children ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing, and for bringing back some fond memories :')

Hahaha yeah when I was going through 90’s and early 2000’s rock songs I saw that and thought fuck yeah!!

Yeah so many memories listening to these songs! I honestly wonder at how life was so different in the 1800’s when music wasn’t widespread like it is now. Do they not have any songs that bring back memories? That sucks! Lol sorry if it was a weird reply but memories and thoughts of the past were apparently prevalent :D

I certainly like the reason song, it’s one of those classic hits that has so many meanings to it and for different people!

Wow, these songs really took me down memory lane! I remember listening to them in school, and they instantly reminded me of 'All the Small Things' by Blink-182 and 'My Own Worst Enemy' by Lit.

They're not necessarily my all-time favorites, but they definitely bring back some great memories.

Damn I haven't thought about Lit in years! I'll have to add that Tony next round hahaha

So many great memories for sure, I’m not even huge fans of some of the songs but just the memories associated to them are awesome. Thinking of All The Small Things - I had someone I was friends with, Darren, and he had a birthday party where we were just jamming out to that shit in his backyard. Really good shit man!

That debut album by Three Doors Down was so good. I think I played it over and over in the 10 disc changer I had in my Chevy Cavalier back then. It was just so good. Did you hear about the fight between the two Crazy Town guys after one of their concerts? I think one of them died recently too, but I could be wrong.

I didn't hear about that but that doesn't surprise me. A lot of bands sadly don't have cohesive members lol they dislike each other.

The 3 doors down track is good for memories but I wasn't a huge fan of them for what ever reason. I appreciate them for sure but not a lover. Still some awesome memories though!
