Celebrating life with music 💗 (eng-esp)

Celebrating the life of others is perhaps one of the noblest ways to celebrate. Yesterday, together with the Orfeón Santiago Choir, we were visiting Father Jorge Catasus at the Archbishopric of the city. Despite his advanced age, he continues to collaborate in the church and the community. He dedicated his whole life to that, and has always been a great supporter of art. Therefore, we felt it our duty to go and sing some ibras from our repertoire for him. The joy of being honored in such a way could be seen on his face. It was a beautiful moment.

Celebrar la vida de otros es quizás una de las formas más nobles de festejar. El día de ayer junto al Coro Orfeón Santiago estuvimos visitando al Padre Jorge Catasus en el Arzobispado dea ciudad. Él, a pesar de su avanzada edad, sigue colaborando en la iglesia y la comunidad. Dedicó toda su vida a eso, y desde siempre ha sido un gran defensor del arte. Por tanto nos sentimos en el deber de ir a cantar para él algunas ibras de nuestro repertorio. En su cara se notaba la alegría de ser honrado de esa manera. Fue un momento hermoso.
