Today I finally bought a stash of picks for my acoustic guitar, it's been a while since I've seen this pack of Steve Vai picks, medium hardness, at a good price on Amazon, and finally now here they are. I have been using Steve Vai picks since my first guitar lesson, I well remember that my brother and teacher, an admirer of the virtuoso guitarist, gave me a similar pick and said: Good start to the lesson!

It's been 25 years since my first lesson, I've come a long way since then and my skill level is acceptable. I followed guitar lessons for about a year, then I started studying the songs of my favorite bands and I kind of neglected the theory. To date I carry many gaps with me but I have always wanted to learn the guitar to play the songs I love to listen to and this makes me happy.

I never had any ambition to start a band and hit clubs, although at one point me and my friends formed a band but we liked playing together. We were perhaps a bit against the trend but that was fine with us. In all these years I have continued to play but without too many goals and I still continue to slide my fingers along the fretboard and pluck the strings with the plectrum.

Since my son was born, I've been playing less and less, I have less and less time and today I treated myself to new picks with green shades. I like them a lot and I immediately started playing my acoustic guitar! My favorite song is Nothing Else Matters, a song that characterized my adolescence and I love to play it, it has such a sad yet so emotional sound.

Oggi ho comprato finalmente una scorta di plettri per la mia chitarra acustica, era da un po' di tempo che avevo visto questo pacco di plettri Steve Vai, durezza media, ad un buon costo su Amazon, e finalmente ora eccoli qui. Utilizzo plettri Steve Vai sin dalla mia prima lezione di chitarra, ricordo bene che mio fratello e maestro, ammiratore del virtuoso chitarrista, mi diede un plettro simile e mi disse: Buon inizio di lezione!

Sono trascorsi 25 anni dalla mia prima lezione, ho fatto molta strada da allora ed il mio livello di abilità è accettabile. Ho seguito le lezioni di chitarra per circa un anno, poi ho iniziato a studiare i pezzi delle mie band preferite e ho un po' tralasciato la teoria. Ad oggi mi porto dietro molte lacune ma ho desiderato da sempre imparare la chitarra per suonare le canzoni che più amo ascoltare e ciò mi rende felice.

Non ho mai avuto ambizione di creare un gruppo e girare per locali, anche se ad un certo punto io e i miei amici abbiamo formato una band ma ci piaceva suonare tra noi. Eravamo forse un po' controtendenza ma a noi stava bene così. In tutti questi anni ho continuato a suonare ma senza troppi obiettivi e tutt'ora continuo a far scorrere le dita lunga la tastiera e a pizzicare le corde con il plettro.

Da quando è nato mio figlio, io suono sempre meno, ho sempre meno tempo e oggi mi sono regalato plettri nuovi e dalle sfumature color verde. Mi piacciono un sacco ed ho subito iniziato a suonare la mia chitarra acustica! Il mio brano preferito è Nothing Else Matters, un brano che ha caratterizzato la mia adolescenza e mi piace suonarla, ha un suono così triste eppure così emozionante.
