I this video every year, twice a year. Once on Women's Day, and once on Heritage Day.

It's the uncomfortable story. The one we don't dare share with others for fear of having nowhere else to go. The story of spousal abuse, childhood abuse, and gender-based violence.

Our uninvited heritage. Passed from one generation to the next. When will it end?

There are stories I will take to my grave to protect people who don't deserve it. We all have them.

The ones I am brave enough to speak about I will scream from the hilltops.

Happy Women's Day a great song to cover what so many feel, little speak out, too many hurt mentally and physically. Hope the message in the song goes out far and wide.

The lyrics paint a picture of hopelessness and despair, our moral laws are only good as their proper enforcement. I hope this song can help light a way and truly inspire everyone into action to rid this social blight from humanity. 🙏

thank you so much. This is such a powerful song. I remember being very intimidated to cover it at the time... but it resonated with me to my very bones.
