Hive Music Festival (Semana 6 - Ronda 3): Cover de "Can't Help Falling In Love" by @cjstar

Un saludo musical a todos! / A musical greeting to all!

Está es la tercera ronda en el Festival Hive Music, mientras buscaba la canción indicada recordé un tema romántico que se ha convertido en un clásico y me hizo recordar cuando participé en un karaoke siendo scout, fue una experiencia inolvidable y en esa oportunidad mi reto fue interpretar en inglés esta canción que de seguro conoces.

This is the third round in the Hive Music Festival, while I was looking for the right song I remembered a romantic song that has become a classic and made me remember when I participated in a karaoke as a scout, it was an unforgettable experience and in that opportunity my challenge was to interpret in English this song that you surely know.

"Can't Help Falling In Love" es una composición de Elvis Presley que da un grito hacía el amor y que es perfecta para dedicar si estas enamorado, yo aún no lo estoy pero de verdad disfruto cantarla por su melodía que llega al corazón, ayer mientras ensayaba con la guitarra mi mamá me llamó y pude cantarle luego de tanto tiempo, me sentí muy felíz al compartir con ella un poco de música después de tanto tiempo.

"Can't Help Falling In Love" is a composition of Elvis Presley that gives a cry for love and is perfect to dedicate if you are in love, I'm not yet but I really enjoy singing it for its melody that touches the heart, yesterday while rehearsing with the guitar my mom called me and I could sing to her after so long, I felt very happy to share with her a little music after so long.

Sí pudiera aprovechar para darles un consejo de amor, sería que procures enamorar a esa persona todos los días, que siempre sea sincero pero también debes estar dispuesto a morir a tus deseos en ocasiones para hacer realidad el amor, espero que Dios me dé la oportunidad de conocer a alguien que de verdad me entregué su corazón al 100%, porque yo estoy dispuesto a darlo todo.

If I could take the opportunity to give you a love advice, it would be that you try to fall in love with that person every day, always be sincere but you must also be willing to die to your desires sometimes to make love come true, I hope God gives me the opportunity to meet someone who really gave me his heart 100%, because I am willing to give it all.

Esta composición ha sonado en todas partes del mundo, e incluso trae muchas memorias a quien la escucha. La primera vez que la oí fue en una audición de un niño en el programa reconocido como La Voz Kids, y quedé encantado por esta canción que me propuse no solo cantarla sino también aprenderla en inglés, a pesar de que no soy el mejor en la pronunciación pude hacerlo con mucha pasión.

This composition has been played all over the world, and even brings back many memories to those who listen to it. The first time I heard it was in an audition of a child in the program known as La Voz Kids, and I was so enchanted by this song that I decided not only to sing it but also to learn it in English, even though I am not the best in pronunciation I was able to do it with a lot of passion.

Tocarla en la guitarra fue otro reto que me propuse para mi participación, aunque tenía acordes que conocía y con los que pude acompañar mi voz. Tuve que ensayar por aproximadamente 40min para poder tocarla y así lograr ejecutar este cover, otra curiosidad es que me gusta usar este tema para practicar mis graves ya que es una parte de mi voz que aún no domino muy bien.

Playing it on the guitar was another challenge I set myself for my participation, although I had chords that I knew and with which I could accompany my voice. I had to rehearse for about 40 minutes to be able to play it and be able to perform this cover, another curiosity is that I like to use this song to practice my bass since it is a part of my voice that I still don't master very well.

Para cerrar quiero dejarles un hermoso verso de la biblia y que me hace mucha referencia a esta canción, que se encuentra en el libro de Cantares y que expresa: "¡Graba mi nombre en tu corazón! ¡Graba mi imagen en tu brazo! ¡Tan fuerte es el amor como la muerte! ¡Tan cierta es la pasión como la tumba! ¡El fuego del amor es una llama que Dios mismo ha encendido!” (Cantares 8:6 TLA).

To close I would like to leave you with a beautiful verse from the bible that makes a lot of reference to this song, which is found in the book of Song of Solomon and which expresses: "Engrave my name on your heart! Engrave my image on your arm! Love is as strong as death! As sure is passion as the grave! The fire of love is a flame that God himself has kindled!" (Song of Solomon 8:6 TLA).
