From Melodies to Traditions: How Vibes Unites Us All

It's no news that the Vibes community has been making headlines not just within the Hive community but also around the globe. I can see the rapid, steady progress that has been built over the course of time. Inexplicable wonders are being created, ranging from sweet melodic voices to instrumental wonders and mind-blowing themes.

This past week came with a free theme—do as you please. It allows for expression of oneself and brings out the real you. It's here that people find themselves and discover their unique musical personality. There's no limitation whatsoever, and this allows people to be themselves and try what they've always loved or desired to do in the music world. Discovery comes from trying. If you never try, you'll never discover. I watched people be themselves rather than trying to fit into the narrative of a character they're not.

On the other hand, week 33 gave us a whole different Vibes. It was themed, yes, but then there was something a little bit more extra there. We saw what we call unity in diversity, a popular phrase that was incorporated into the Vibes community. I saw people proudly sing their native songs, some in their traditional attire—languages I hadn't heard before and an array of beautiful colours that represented different cultural backgrounds. With each, representing a story—a story hidden back in time. I could sense the unity and togetherness almost as though we knew one another on a personal basis. Many might not have had the opportunity to be themselves considering the little restriction that was placed, but then that wasn't the aim. The aim was to serve as a unifying theme, bringing enlightenment and acceptance of all languages and cultures to the Vibes community.

It's been a great work so far, seeing new ideas pop up in the Vibes community. New themes, different purposes—it's all a display of concepts.
