This is my entry for the #threetunetuesday by @ablaze - I got inspired by a post from @qwerrie - who post regularly in this contest!
This competition is more or less what I needed. My Spotify playlist has been the same for almost 2 years. Every now and then a new song gets lost on the playlist, but on the whole nothing new. 01. Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa

Currently my absolute favourite band - by the way, they come from Germany. Electric Callboy used to be called Eskimo Callboy, but they changed the name because the term Eskimo is no longer appropriate. What I love about this band is that they don't take themselves seriously at all. The music is a mixture of techno and rock/metal and I love that kind of thing. Many aspects in their music videos seem totally thrown together, but still make sense somewhere. Earlier this year I saw them live and have to say the atmosphere was mega, the guys are extremely strong live. Especially the lead singer Nico Sallach is for me the only one who comes close to the vocal power of Chester Bennington: The band is known for covering various well-known songs on their live performances. I really hope this will become a full cover! At the concert, this interlude was completely spontaneous.




02. Bad Wolves - Zombie

This song is a cover of the world famous song Zombie by The Cranberries. I've always liked the original, but I have to admit, I actually prefer this cover. The way the cover is done just touches me. As of today, the video has 512 million views, which is more than some other global hits on YouTube!




03. Sum 41 - Still Waiting

The song is already eternally old and addresses a theme that still has relevance today.

So am I still waiting,
for this world to stop hating,
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in

Actually very sad when you think about it. At least I have the feeling that social media has increased hatred in general. Or maybe I didn't notice it so much before because there was no social media.

01. Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa

Aktuell meine absolute Lieblingsband - kommen übrigens aus Deutschland. Electric Callboy nannte sich vorher Eskimo Callboy, haben den Namen aber geändert, da der Ausdruck Eskimo nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist. Was ich an dieser Band liebe: Sie nehmen sich absolut nicht ernst. Die Musik ist eine Mischung aus Techno und Rock/Metal und ich liebe so etwas. Viele Aspekte in ihren Musikvideos wirken total zusammengewürfelt, ergeben aber irgendwo immer noch einen Sinn. Anfang des Jahres habe ich Sie live gesehen und muss sagen die Stimmung war mega, die Jungs sind live extrem stark. Vor allem der Leadsänger Nico Sallach ist für mich der einzige der Ansatzweise an die Stimmgewalt von Chester Bennington ran kommt: Die Band ist dafür bekannt verschiedene bekannte Songs auf ihren Live Performancen zu Covern hier ein kurzer Ausschnitt von Crawling von Linkin Park von Nico Sallach:

Ich hoffe sehr daraus wird ein komplettes Cover! Bei dem Konzert war diese Einlage komplett spontan.




02. Bad Wolves - Zombie

Bei diesem Lied handelt es sich um ein Cover des weltberühmten Songs Zombie von The Cranberries. Ich fand das Original schon immer gut, muss aber gestehen, ich höre dieses Cover sogar lieber. Die Art und Weise des Covers berührt mich einfach. Das Video hat zu dem stand heute 512 Millionen Aufrufe und damit mehr als manche andere Welthits auf Youtube!




03. Sum 41 - Still Waiting

Das Lied ist schon ewig alt und spricht eine Thematik an die bis heute unverändert Relevanz hat.

Eigentlich sehr traurig, wenn man drüber nachdenkt. Ich hab zumindest das Gefühl das durch sozial Media der Hass im allgemeinen zugenommen hat. Oder vielleicht habe ich auch vorher davon nicht so viel mitbekommen, weil es halt kein sozial Media gab.

Loved the visuals in 'Bad Wolves - Zombie' video. Sadly they had to dilute it with the live concert footage. Oh, and I'd say that original version is better ;) !DHEDGE and !BEER
