Hello vibes community,Good evening from here.

welcome once again to another official review of a wonderful song by @merit.ahama
I want to say a very big thank you to @lordbutterfly for giving us the writters the opportunity.

So I listened to @merit.ahama’s cover of “Alone, Pt. II” and honestly, I was really surprised—in a good way. You know how you can see someone and not expect them to have a certain talent? Like when the quiet person in class suddenly starts singing and everyone’s like, “Wait, was that you?” That’s exactly how it felt.

The calmness and control she exercised over her voice was second to none. It just like seeing a driver being calm and driving smoothly on a rough road in a way that makes it look easy. That is exactly how she handled this song.

Correct me if I am wrong but I can't remember seeing her trying to force high notes, it's a kind of allowing your voice to do the work.

Even though the original song is an EDM track with lots of energy and beats, her ability to bring emotions to the cover was something I couldn't even explan .

This is not common because EDM are known to focus more on the beat/energy and not on feelings or emotion.

But Merit gave it heart like she wasn’t just singing, she meant every word.

It actually made me ask myself: “Why isn’t she getting more attention for this?” Maybe it’s because EDM isn’t super popular in our part of the world, or maybe people just didn’t expect this kind of sound from her. But whatever the case, I think she really nailed it.

If you’ve never heard the cover, go check it out

this reminds me of this type of songs that you will listen and then stop what ever you are doing to give it your full attention, I really commend get for a job well done
