AI Artwork in my new music video

Hi hivies :)

On Sunday I will release a new music lyric video with artwork created by an AI

But as you are the futurists, you'll see it before everyone else :)

I used AI, as this song is called 'in my dreams'- and literally this song is about dreaming. So the AI could create the best visual world for it.

Behind the Song

When you hear this song, you might finally think that my mind is crazy :) It is not a usual song, it is more an experimental song. I call it my ‚Bohemian rhapsody‘, haha :D

By that I mean, a song, that doesn’t have a typical ABC structure :)

It all started in my dreams. Yes, I very often dream of songs. I don’t know how that happens, but it is a very cool thing, cause I can hear the whole song in my dreams, then I wake up and think: I need to record it and try it out.

I feel very blessed to have that ability, cause it makes my life sometimes easier.

So I dreamed of this lead melody, that you can hear throughout the whole song.

I loved the melody, simple, but that was kinna all I had.

The next day, or same day, however, I went to Thomas' studio.

I said to him, listen I have this beautiful melody but I don’t know what to do with it.

He immediately felt in love with the melody, too.

We were talking about dreams and how weird they can be, as if you would live in a parallel world. My dreams for example are very vivid and sometimes scenarios repeat.

Very often I receive messages or songs and sometimes dreams don’t make sense at all.

Thomas had the idea to write about dreams. He said, we should ask the audience what they dream about or which dreams impacted them the most.

So we did and the story of the song is a mixture of many stories that we received.

4 stories in 1 Song

The first story is about that feeling of creating another reality or maybe the same reality, that is actually my story, as I love to dream and I feel free in my dreams.

Then it goes into a nightmare cause we received many messages saying, that people dream of being hunted or being killed and that this really scares them.

I think we all know these nightmares. Dreaming is also important to process fears.

Then the story makes a complete U-turn. We received a beautiful message from a woman who dreams very often about her dead father. She said, in her dreams, they reunite, as if he was still there. I love that story so much, cause I know that myself. I often dream of my grandmother and I swear, she is talking to me in my dreams :)

Then the last part we used a story that we received many times, haha :)

It is a sex dream. Well I think we all can relate to that too :) not a bad dream though.

Final Song on the Album

So we have 4 stories and also needed 4 songs combined in one. As this was the very last song on the album, I wanted this to be a collaboration between my two producers Kevin and Thomas. Thomas and I did the pre production

Kevin was basically designing the whole sound system around the song.

It was a tough job, cause how can you combine 4 songs, so that they still fit to each other? The transfer between each part, is the lead melody.

I think the boys did a fantastic job.

I love each part so much, that I think, maybe I should create 4 separate songs of it? What do you think?
