If na fear and grief, African music go bring boldness and joy.
Oh African music,
you too much, you be the sound track to life,
You be my spike plug when I dey write,
You be my thinking cap when I dey in deep thoughts.
African music, na you be the drum beat of the heart,
You be the flute of the artistic symphony,
Na eim be my poetic muse,
Because say I dey get inspired by ein melodies.
Dem dey call Africa the dark continent,
But dem no no say na through the dark we find our light,
When our music dey gives vibes, and good energy.
African music just dey like fossil fuels for artistry,
Ein dey serve as defibrillator,
Wey go shock the soul of poetry
And go fit also serve as the creative conductor.
African music too dey kajad for birthdays, marriages and even when persin die.
Because say ein get legit meaning in every lyrics.
If African music na Place — then amapiano na the City, Afro- juju and Fuji na the Wilderness, makossa na the Road, Afro beat and high life na the temple.
Music na the harmony of Africa o,
And as we dey sing,
We still dey celebrate,
By the melody of Africa.
Music na the glue of Africa,
Na ein dey bind us together,
With love wey no fit break.
African music speaks,
Ein dey tell the truth
whether you want am to or not.
Na ein dey teach me everything I do.
Without music, I no no wetin I go do.
When I'm feeling bad, na the only place I dey run go to.
African music dey smooth and cool
Ein be the great uniter. An incredible force. African music na my religion.
And e dey very spiritual, ein get better power wey the to bring people together.
African music na passion,
E dey bring out emotions,
E dey bring cheers,
E dey bring tears….
E still come dey make us dance,
African music dey also make persin dey do things fast - fast.
Ein dey regain memory loss, and memories wey don past,
Ein still come the help person relive with the people wey their love ones don pass out.
The true beauty of African music be say ein dey connects people. Ein dey carry message, every time and we wey be musicians, na the messengers.
Just play African music,
Weda na old or na new one,
Because ein na life itself
Make ein fill your hear with correct melody and rhythm,
Make you smile, dey sing am with passion and joy.
Until time don reach to go.

Truly, African music get a special vibe. It is not just rhythmic but very impactful as it carries message to the listener. For me, among the categories of African music, highlife is my favorite then followed by fuji.
When I listen to highlife, I feel on top of the planet earth and like nothing dey mega, lolz.
