Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss Review | Un álbum más del montón // One more album of the bunch [Esp / Eng]

~ Hey music lovers on Hive! This is my first review post on my blog, and I'd like to start it off in style, talking about a fairly new album from two pretty well known figures in the current music scene, Drake and 21 Savage. Without giving it any more thought, I'm going to give you my opinion about this album, my score, the best songs on it, a little analysis of various aspects and whether I recommend it to fans of the genre or anyone thinking of giving it a little look.

~ The year 2022 brought us a ton of albums and good music, it's been a tremendous year for this industry.... It also of course brought us a lot of disappointments, like the one I'm going to talk about in this post.
~ Her Loss, Drake's most recent album, in collaboration with 21 Savage. As soon as it was released on all Streaming platforms it gave a lot to talk about, so I decided to listen to it right away without getting too many spoilers about the songs on the album, and give it a taste with a clear mind.

~ The first thing that stands out in the album is its cover, I will be totally honest and give my critical and artistic point of view about this cover, just by appreciating it at a glance I can conclude that it is A SHIT. This cover is so ugly that throwing up on a baby and punching it in the face is less ugly than seeing this disgusting cover, I definitely have to listen to the album and minimize the Spotify tab because if I keep seeing this cover I'm going to get cancer, and to say cancer is an understatement. Drake entered a competition of making horrible covers and won first place, but the cover is definitely not the only horrible thing about the album.

~ The first thing to highlight among the songs on the album is the way in which the album begins. It introduces with the song "Rich Flex", which leaves a great expectation just starting to listen to the album, it is a tremendous song, even though it started to fill the whole internet with memes with this song and Drake, because it sounds something suspicious the first lyric HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

~ Out of the meme, 21 Savage starts the song strong, although the lyrics anyway, don't come out of the ordinary: Tits, pussy, money and being the most gangsta on the block, which will basically be what you'll hear on the whole damn album, don't expect to get witty lyrics or criticisms of modern society on this album, you won't find it here.
~ 21 Savage and Drake make a great combination, now.... What's my problem with this album? - *The execution.
~ The album could have been MUCH better executed, but all it presents is boring album, simple beats, common lyrics of today's commercial music and a constant monotony in it (Unlike a couple of songs).
As I already mentioned, this duo makes a great combination, and within their catalog we can find very enjoyable music, and that definitely surpass "Her Loss" by FAR, such as Scorpion and Nothing Was The Same by Drake, or Without Warning and Savage Mode II by 21 Savage.
~ I really expected a lot more from this album, but it didn't meet my expectations, as I said in the title of this post "Just another album of the bunch", there is no innovation and definitely nothing that stands out in this one, especially compared to many Rap and Hip Hop albums released this same year.
Below I will leave my top of the songs that I think are the only salvageable thing about this album.
~ I think the top is self-explanatory, Circo Loco earns its spot for the clever sampled they did of Daft Punk's One More Time and Pussy & Millions takes the top spot simply because Travis Scott saved the album in one song with this tremendous collaboration.
~ Just to conclude this post, nothing else remains for me to say that 21 Savage is the only reason why this album isn't complete garbage, because without it, this album probably couldn't even be bearable, but equally, it's still an album without much life or spark in my view.
FINAL ALBUM SCORE: 4/10 (Not recommended)

~ ¡Hey amantes de la música en Hive! Este es mi primer post de reseñas en mi blog, y quisiera empezarlo por todo lo alto, hablando de un álbum bastante nuevo de dos figuras bastantes conocidas en el escenario musical actual, Drake y 21 Savage. Sin darle más vueltas, voy a darles mi opinión acerca de este álbum, mi puntaje, las mejores canciones del mismo, un pequeño análisis de varios aspectos y si lo recomiendo a los amantes del género o a cualquiera que piense darle un pequeño vistazo.

~ El año 2022 nos trajo una tonelada de álbumes y buena música, ha sido un año tremendo para esta industria... También nos trajo por supuesto muchas decepciones, como de la que voy a hablar en este post.
~ Her Loss, el álbum más reciente de Drake, en colaboración con 21 Savage. Apenas salió en todas las plataformas de Streaming dió mucho de que hablar, por lo que decidí escucharlo al momento sin recibir muchos spoilers sobre las canciones del álbum, y darle una probadita con la mente clara.

~ Lo primero que destaca en el álbum es su portada, seré totalmente sincero y daré mi punto de vista crítico y artístico sobre esta portada, solamente con apreciarla a simple vista puedo concluir que es UNA MIERDA. Esta portada es tan fea que vomitarle a un bebé y pegarle en la cara es menos feo que ver esta portada tan asquerosa, definitivamente tengo que escuchar el álbum y minimizar la pestaña de Spotify porque si sigo viendo esta portada me va a dar cáncer, y decir cáncer es poco. Drake entró a una competencia de hacer portadas horribles y se ganó el primer lugar, pero definitivamente la portada no es lo único horrible del álbum.

~ Lo primero a destacar entre las canciones del álbum es la forma en la que empieza el mismo. Introduce con la canción "Rich Flex", lo que deja una gran expectativa apenas empezando a escuchar el álbum, es una tremenda canción, a pesar de que empezara a llenarse todo internet de memes con esta canción y Drake, debido a que suena algo sospechosa la primera lírica JAJAJAJAJAJA.

~ Fuera del meme, 21 Savage empieza fuerte la canción, aunque la letra igualmente, no sale de lo común: Tetas, vaginas, dinero y ser el más gangsta del barrio, que será básicamente lo que escucharás en todo el maldito álbum, no esperes conseguir líricas ingeniosas o críticas a la sociedad moderna en este álbum, aquí no lo encontrarás.
~ 21 Savage y Drake hacen una gran combinación, ahora... ¿Cuál es mi problema con este álbum? - La ejecución.
~ El álbum pudo haber sido MUCHÍSIMO mejor ejecutado, pero lo único que presenta es en álbum aburrido, beats simples, líricas comunes de la música comercial actual y una constante monotonía en el mismo (A diferencia de un par de canciones).
Como ya mencioné, este dúo hace una gran combinación, y dentro de su catálogo discográfico podemos encontrar música muy disfrutable, y que definitivamente superan por MUCHO a "Her Loss", como por ejemplo Scorpion y Nothing Was The Same de Drake, o Without Warning y Savage Mode II de 21 Savage.
~ La verdad esperaba mucho más de este álbum, pero no cumplió mis expectativas, como dije en el título de este post "Un álbum más del montón", no hay innovación ni definitivamente nada que destaque en éste, en especial a comparación de muchos álbumes de Rap y Hip Hop lanzados este mismo año.
A continuación dejare mi top de las canciones que pienso que son lo único salvable de éste álbum.
~ Creo que el top se explica por si solo, Circo Loco se gana su puesto por el ingenioso sampled que hicieron de One More Time de Daft Punk y Pussy & Millions se lleva el primer lugar sencillamente porque Travis Scott salvó el álbum en una sola canción con esta tremenda colaboración.
~ Solo para concluir este post, nada más me queda por decir que 21 Savage es la única razón por la que este álbum no es una completa basura, porque sin él, probablemente este álbum no podría ser siquiera soportable, pero igualmente, sigue siendo un álbum sin mucha vida o chispa desde mi punto de vista.
PUNTUACIÓN FINAL DEL ÁLBUM: 4/10 (No lo recomiendo)
Para aclarar, toda esta reseña es totalmente *MI OPINIÓN PROPIA*, por lo tanto, pueden tomarse mi crítica en serio como pueden simplemente ignorar mi post e irse a disfrutarlo junto a sus amigos, en este blog se respetan los gustos de todos.

Excelente reseña amigo, de verdad que eso demuestra que algunos artistas se estancan y al parecer ya ni les importa si realmente lanzan un buen producto o no. Son cosas que ojalá no afecten a los demás.

Y si, tienes razón. Muchos artistas actuales se enfocan en lanzar un producto que venda, y no uno de verdad hecho con corazón, especialmente en el mundo musical. Caso muy distintos a artistas grandes actuales que a pesar de su fama, siguen sacando música con el corazón y no solo por vender, como por ejemplo, Kendrick Lamar.
Solo la portada del álbum ya te dice que bueno... No mentira, pero probablemente es lo que menos me gustó del álbum más que las canciones
