My Top 6 for Week 29 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition

Debo comenzar con la magistral interpretación de @javierduoiris, quien nos deleita en esta oportunidad con el tema “En mi corazón vivirás” del gran Phil Collins, quien es un gran baterista, cantante, compositor, productor, y más. Collins compuso este tema para la película Tarzán la cual se estrenó en el año 1999, con un mensaje corto, pero conciso, esa necesidad de protección y apoyo que muchas veces nos hace falta, amor incondicional.

Javier nos regala una emotiva e impecable interpretación en acústico con su guitarra, así como Collins de cierta forma ha dedicado este tema a su hija Lily, Javier de igual manera vincula un profundo sentimiento en este tema con el nacimiento de su hijo Noah.

Buena captura de sonido, claro y nítido, atreviéndome a decir uno de los mejores que he escuchado hasta ahora, el video fue capturado en vertical y a la vista bastante agradable; un excelente trabajo en todo sentido al mejor estilo “Open Mic”.

I must start with the masterful interpretation of @javierduoiris, who delights us this time with the song “En mi corazón vivirás” by the great Phil Collins who is a great drummer, singer, composer, producer, and more. Collins composed this song for the movie Tarzan which was released in 1999, with a short but concise message, the need for protection and support that we often lack, unconditional love.

Javier gives us an emotional and impeccable interpretation in acoustic with his guitar, just as Collins in a way has dedicated this song to his daughter Lily, Javier in the same way links a deep feeling in this song with the birth of his son Noah.

Good sound capture, clear and crisp, daring to say one of the best I've heard so far, the video was captured vertically and quite nice to look at; an excellent job in every way in the best “Open Mic” style.

Continuamos con @fondew interpretando un popular tema también del año 1999, aunque de una forma peculiar y que a mi parecer le da mucho más sentido a la letra y me corrigen si estoy equivocado, pero en este estilo ‘Country Blues’ las pasiones salen a flor de piel, sencillamente fascinante.

DeWitt Clark nos cautiva con una voz robusta y madura, con una potencia indescriptible que es capás de levantarnos del sillón para aplaudirle, tomen tiempo de escucharlo con detenimiento porque les aseguro que los hará vibrar con la energía que transmite.

We continue with @fondew interpreting a popular theme also from 1999, although in a peculiar way and that in my opinion gives much more sense to the lyrics and correct me if I'm wrong, but in this style 'Country Blues' passions come to the surface, simply fascinating.

DeWitt Clark captivates us with a robust and mature voice, with an indescribable power that is capable of getting us off the couch to applaud him, take time to listen to him carefully because I assure you that he will make you vibrate with the energy he transmits.

A continuación sigo con un instrumental de una canción muy emotiva estrenada en enero del año 1992, nueve meses luego del accidente en el que perdió la vida el hijo del compositor Eric Clapton, tema que se haría muy popular diez meses más tarde. Clapton plasmó su sufrimiento y penas en esta canción, se siente en cada verso su duelo.

@alainsaez1517 nos trae en un hermoso dúo toda la emotividad que Clapton escribió con su alma, la guitarra parece llorar mientras el piano le lleva de la mano a través de su desolación y desdicha. Este ha sido de mis instrumentales preferidos para esta semana del “Vibes Web3 Music Competition”, una versión en vivo acompañada por un segundo teclado en la percusión que aparece al minuto y medio, sois geniales chicos, han logrado darle vida a un tema que por sí solo es un poema de dolor.

Next, I continue with an instrumental of a very emotional song released in January 1992, nine months after the accident in which the son of the composer Eric Clapton lost his life, a song that would become very popular ten months later. Clapton captured his suffering and sorrows in this song, you can feel his grief in every verse.

@alainsaez1517 brings us in a beautiful duet all the emotion that Clapton wrote with his soul, the guitar seems to cry while the piano takes him by the hand through his desolation and unhappiness. This has been one of my favorite instrumentals for this week's “Vibes Web3 Music Competition”, a live version accompanied by a second keyboard on percussion that appears after a minute and a half, you guys are great, you have managed to give life to a song that by itself is a poem of pain.

Seguimos con @olgaestrella interpretando Believe de Cher, la verdad es que me ha encantado todo desde su puesta en escena, el ambiente, la producción, no encuentro fallo. Tiene una voz potente y al mismo tiempo muy afinada, esta versión no deja de ser conmovedora, no hay como un buen piano y algo de colchón armónico para despertar emociones profundas acompañado de una buena letra.

Bueno, permítanme hablar un poco acerca de la canción, Cher expresando su fuerza ante la ruptura y el coraje que toda persona necesita para seguir adelante, aunque francamente el que la haya dedicado a su exmarido el tema meses después de que este falleciera en un accidente, me parece de muy mal gusto, amor y desamor, dulce y amargo. No puedo negar que es un temazo para el que está despechado, buena construcción melódica y no está de más decir que a partir de esta canción la industria de la música pop se abrió camino a nuevas posibilidades sonoras.

We continue with @olgaestrella interpreting Believe by Cher, the truth is that I loved everything from its staging, the atmosphere, and the production, I can't find fault. She has a powerful voice and at the same time very in tune, this version does not fail to be touching, there is nothing like a good piano and some harmonic cushion to awaken deep emotions accompanied by good lyrics.

Well, let me talk a little about the song, Cher expresses her strength in the face of the breakup and the courage that every person needs to move on, although frankly the fact that she dedicated the song to her ex-husband months after he died in an accident, seems to me to be in very bad taste, love and heartbreak, sweet and bitter. I can't deny that it's a great song for the one who's been jilted, good melodic construction and it goes without saying that from this song the pop music industry opened the way to new sonic possibilities.

Desde el primer momento que escuché la magnífica voz de @vocal.journey1 quedé cautivado. Una voz totalmente en crudo, demostrando la fuerza y el talento que esta adorable joven posee, vaya que me ha dejado sorprendido. El hecho que la pista se escuche bastante tenue me ha permitido apreciar todo el potencial vocal que esta chica posee y de corazón deseo llegue muy lejos, que la siga desarrollando y potenciando a través del estudio y la buena técnica.

Because You Loved Me fue escrita por Diane Warren y puesta en la voz de Céline Dion en 1996 como tema de la película “Íntimo y personal”. Habla sobre el agradecimiento y lo importante de haber contado de alguien que le dio su amor y apoyo de manera incondicional. Celine Dion ya se mostraba en el mundo del cine antes de su gran éxito con My Heart Will Go On, sin duda una gran artista y que a pesar de estar sufriendo con su enfermedad “síndrome de la persona rígida (SPR)”, siempre estará en los corazones de quienes la hemos escuchado e incluso cantado a coro sus temas.

From the first moment I heard @vocal.journey1's magnificent voice I was captivated. A raw voice, demonstrating the strength and talent that this lovely young lady possesses, wow it blew me away. The fact that the track sounds quite subdued has allowed me to appreciate all the vocal potential that this girl possesses and from the bottom of my heart I wish she goes far, that she continues to develop and enhance it through study and good technique.

Because You Loved Me was written by Diane Warren and performed by Céline Dion in 1996 as the theme song for the movie “Intimate and Personal”. It talks about gratitude and the importance of having someone who gives her unconditional love and support. Celine Dion was already showing herself in the world of cinema before her great success with My Heart Will Go On, undoubtedly a great artist who, despite suffering from her illness “Stiff Person Syndrome (SPR)”, will always be in the hearts of those of us who have listened to her and even sung her songs in chorus.

Por último, pero no menos importante, debo agregar a esta lista a @leomolina con su canción original, un rap con un potente mensaje que nos podría hacer sentir identificados a muchos, la superación, la esperanza, la resiliencia. Versos muy bien contruidos, esto es poesía pura acompañado de un beat pegadizo que hace sencillo recordar la letra luego de escuchada, lo que le da conexión y coherencia.

Leo nos muestra que siempre hay algo importante que contar a través de la música y lo que me hace recordar a un reciente rapero callejero que subió a un autobús hace unos días que venia del trabajo a casa. Espero tener la oportunidad de encontrarmelo nuevamente porque así como Leo en su rap "Esta va por mí", este colega hablaba sobrela contaminación y el daño que los seres humanos estamos causando al mundo. esta es la música que vale la pena escuchar y apoyar, hay musica para el goce y el placer pero más alla de eso siempre he pensado que el valor está en lo que una buena letra o incluso una buena melodía o armonía nos puedan aportar.

Last but not least, I must add to this list @leomolina with his original song, a rap with a powerful message that could make many of us feel identified: overcoming, hope, and resilience. Very well-constructed verses, this is pure poetry, accompanied by a catchy beat that makes it easy to remember the lyrics after listening, which gives it connection and coherence.

Leo shows us that there is always something important to tell through music which reminds me of a recent street rapper who got on a bus a few days ago coming home from work. I hope to have the opportunity to meet him again because, just like Leo in his rap “Esta va por mí”, this colleague was talking about pollution and the damage we humans are causing to the world. This is music worth listening to and supporting. There is music for enjoyment and pleasure, but beyond that, I have always thought that the value is in what a good lyric or even a good melody or harmony can bring us.

No quiero irme sin antes hacer una mención especial para los que formaron parte de mi lista de favoritos, algunos están, otros no, pero solo me queda felicitarles a todos por el gran trabajo que han hecho, sobra mucho talento dentro de la comunidad y merecen más que una mención. Todos los éxitos en sus proyectos y que la música nunca pare, la música es vida.

I don't want to leave without first making a special mention for those who were part of my list of favorites, some are there, others are not, but I can only congratulate them all for the great work they have done, there is a lot of talent left in the community and they deserve more than a mention.
