Que tal, Hivers. En esta semana en el “Hive Open Mic” el tema es “memories” y podría asociar memorias con nostalgia, y existe una banda que trae muchas memorias a la mente y mucha nostalgia por sus canciones, que marcaron una época e incluso muchas películas usan sus canciones en distintas temáticas. “Journey” es una banda creada en los años 70´s y es acá donde viene la anécdota más conocida de esta banda, que es que dos de los integrantes de la primera banda de “Carlos Santana” fueron fundadores de esta banda. Pero fue en los años 80´s cuando se integra “Steve Perry” quien con su voz le dio un gran impulso a la banda posicionándola como una de las más icónicas y legendarias, lastimosamente, con los años se retiró de la banda para hacer una carrera solista, pero ya el nombre estaba hecho. Recordar sus canciones, da la sensación de nostalgia y trae a nosotros grandes memorias, es así como relaciono hoy en mi presentación para el Hive open mic, con el cover de bajo del tema “Don´t Stop Believin´” un tema maravilloso y es una de las presentaciones que he querido desde hace mucho y esta es la oportunidad.

This week in the "Hive Open Mic" the theme is "memories" and I could associate memories with nostalgia, and there is a band that brings many memories to mind and a lot of nostalgia for their songs, which marked an era and even many movies use their songs in different themes. "Journey" is a band created in the 70's and it is here where the best known anecdote of this band comes from, which is that two of the members of the first band of "Carlos Santana" were founders of this band.
