Howdy, open mic. This “Under the rain” denotes many things, sometimes it is seen in a negative or sad way, but in many cases it is necessary to be under the rain to know that in life there are moments that can be seen in a negative way, but enjoying the rain is sometimes necessary. In this case I bring a song of an unknown band, for many, but for those who grew up in the 90's is a legendary band. “Blind Melon” is an alternative rock and grunge band formed in Los Angeles in 1990. The band was founded by vocalist Shannon Hoon, along with other members Rogers Stevens (guitar), Brad Smith (bass) and Glen Graham (drums). Blind Melon's music is characterized by its melodic sound, introspective lyrics and a style that combines rock,

folk and psychedelic elements. Their most famous song, “No Rain”, was released in 1992 as part of their debut album Blind Melon. The song became an international hit and is considered a classic of the 1990s. The lyrics talk about the search for happiness and authenticity in the midst of superficiality and social pressures. The phrase “And it's hard to get by just upon a smile” reflects the idea that sometimes just a smile is not enough to face life's challenges, an interesting reflection for this week in this open mic.

Que tal, open mic. Esta “Bajo la lluvia” denota muchas cosas, a veces es visto de forma negativa o triste, pero en muchos casos es necesario estar bajo la lluvia para saber que en la vida existen momentos que se pueden ver de forma negativa, pero disfrutar de la lluvia es a veces necesario. En este caso traigo un tema de una banda desconocida, para muchos, pero para quienes crecimos en los 90’s es una banda legendaria. “Blind Melon” es una banda de rock alternativo y grunge formada en Los Ángeles en 1990. La banda fue fundada por el vocalista Shannon Hoon, junto con otros miembros como Rogers Stevens (guitarra), Brad Smith (bajo) y Glen Graham (batería). La música de Blind Melon se caracteriza por su sonido melódico,

letras introspectivas y un estilo que combina rock, folk y elementos psicodélicos. Su canción más famosa, "No Rain", fue lanzada en 1992 como parte de su álbum debut Blind Melon. La canción se convirtió en un éxito internacional y es considerada un clásico de los años 90. La letra habla sobre la búsqueda de felicidad y autenticidad en medio de la superficialidad y las presiones sociales.
