Hi Open Family
Well this week's theme of Comedia Musical or Musical comedy is gonna be a very interesting one indeed.
As soon as I knew this was the theme I knew exactly what song I want to play . Ive been wondering what kind of audience I could showcase this song to for a long time , Ive never recorded it or played it live so this weeks theme is extra fun for me.
The song is called "Liquor and Whores" its written by the actor/comedian Mike Smith who plays the character of Bubbles in the Canadian TV show Trailer Park Boy's.
This one uses some country-style chord changes and riffs and despite its questionable comedic content is actually alot of fun to play around with.I will likely end up writing a different song with the exact same chords as this but with different lyrics.
I have my guitar tuned down to a D standard for this one which I think suits the song.
Hopefully, you guys enjoy this one, I hope nobody gets offended by the language used here and I hope at least one person gets a laugh out of it.
I am greatly looking forward to seeing what everyone else brings to the open mic this week , I feel this week is going to be historic!

You should cover this one but change the lyrics to Spanish and add your own solos between the verse :). Yeah I should keep my guitar tuned to D standard, it's much easier to sing these country-style songs in that tuning.
