In my entry for the #fpc I have decided to go with something that I actually think is pretty cool.

Subject: cool

This is obviously interpreted in many different ways. A cool person, cooling down or even a cool experience.
While I did not personally go, I saw the somewhat early stages of Roskilde Festival, the campsite, before the actual festival started.
I found that pretty cool, seeing a bunch of people gathered and just waiting for the music to start.

When I say just waiting, I mean:
Drinking, swimming, drinking, tanning, drinking and enjoying themselves.
Oh, and drinking!

Festival type

The type of festival this is, is probably one of the biggest in the nearby area.
Around 100k people attend this every year.
This year was a bit different, as it ended Saturday at midnight instead of Sunday. They also opened a day earlier.

There's a lot of stuff going on at the festival, even prior to the music, as you might have noticed on the image.

Unfortunately I was unable to catch the real spirit out there, I was just passing by in a train.

With all the stuff going on at the festival, it's close to inevitable to avoid accidents.
This year, a 17 year old decided to go outside the festival area and take a swim in a lake.
Apparantly, the lake on the actual festival wasn't enough (there are lifeguards at that lake), so a few people left for the other lake. And one didn't get up from the water in time.
Thoughts go out to friends and family of this person. RIP.

Happier moments

Many people at the festival are enjoying themselves way too much, and seem to be forgetting what a shower is 😂
At this particular festival, there are many people who does that, but most people do shower during the week-or-so time they're there.
Showers are available - in case you were in doubt.

Festival end

I haven't tried this myself, but it is said, if you collect bottles, cans etc after the festival is done, you can easily get up to $1k in cash (you get money be returning those in stores).

Maybe I should try this today. The festival ended yesterday, so there could be some leftovers.
But that'll be a story for another post 😎
