Greetings to everyone in the Music community! Today I'm here to share with you a new music cover. This time it is a song by the British band, Johnny Hates Jazz, which is titled “Shattered Dreams”. A single from the album “Turn Back the Clock” from 1987. As a lover of 80's music, this is a very popular song and I like it a lot. Its lyrics talk about heartbreak, when the roads separate and those dreams that were built as a couple are broken. The death of illusion. The song reminds me of a reading I had at some point where he said that every couple builds a language, forms of communication and actions that have no other place but within that relationship, so when that relationship ends, a whole world falls apart too. Clark Datchler with his magnificent voice makes us dance and also think about those moments where our heart has broken, but the good news is: no one dies from a broken heart. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Music! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo cover musical. En esta oportunidad se trata de una canción de la banda británica, Johnny Hates Jazz, la cual se titula "Shattered Dreams". Un sencillo perteneciente al álbum "Turn Back the Clock" del año 1987. Cómo amante de la música de los 80's, este es un tema bastante popular y el cual me gusta bastante. Su letra nos habla sobre el desamor, cuando los caminos se separan y aquellos sueños que se construyeron en pareja se hayan rotos. La muerte de la ilusión. La canción me recuerda una lectura que tuve en algún momento dónde afirmaba que cada pareja construye un lenguaje, formas de comunicación y acciones que no tienen otro lugar sino dentro de esa relación, por lo que cuando esa relación se termina, un mundo completo se viene abajo también. Clark Datchler con su magnífica voz nos hace bailar y también pensar en aquellos momentos dónde el corazón se nos ha roto, pero la buena noticia es que: nadie muere por un corazón roto. Espero les guste mi interpretación, cómo siempre hecho con mucho cariño y esfuerzo para este espacio de Hive. Sin más que decir, los dejo con la canción.
