Hello to everyone in the Music community! Today, before the end of this first week of the year, I want to bring you this emblematic song of the group ABBA, entitled 'Happy New Year'. I wanted to perform it before in the month of December but it was very difficult for me due to personal reasons and a strong flu that did not allow me to sing at ease. However, three days ago I was able to re-record some songs and I took advantage of the moment to release this one. I thought about leaving it for the 31st of this year 2023 but honestly it was too much to wait and I was already anxious to put it together here. So I dedicate it to everyone here with all the encouragement to have a happy new year.

The song belongs to the album 'Super Trouper' released in 1980, composed by Björn and Benny. Clearly the lyrics talk about the end of the old year and the arrival of the new, accompanied as always, with a hint of nostalgia and melancholy that causes moments like these where we all question what will come in the future and how we miss the past times. It is even more intense when we think that the couples (the band members) were also separating and in the music video we see how Agnetha and Björn seem very distant.

There is also a Spanish version of this song which was called 'Felicidad'. It is likely that later, by the end of this year 2023, this will be one of the last songs performed by the band. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Music! El día de hoy, antes de que acabe está primera semana del año, quiero traer para ustedes está canción tan emblemática de la agrupación ABBA, titulada 'Happy New Year'. Quise montarla antes en el mes de diciembre pero se me hizo sumamente difícil por cuestiones personales y por una fuerte gripe que no me permitió cantar a gusto. Sin embargo hace tres días pude volver a grabar algunas canciones y aproveché el momento para sacar esta. Pensé en dejarla para el 31 de este año 2023 pero sinceramente era mucha espera y ya estaba ansiosa por montarlo por aquí. Así que la dedico a todos aquí con todos los ánimos de tener un nuevo año feliz.

La canción pertenece al disco 'Super Trouper' lanzando en el año 1980, compuesta por Björn y Benny. Claramente la letra nos habla sobre el final del viejo año y la llegada del nuevo, acompañado como siempre, con un dejo de nostalgia y melancolía que ocasiona momentos como estos donde todos nos cuestionamos qué vendrá en el futuro y como extrañamos los tiempos pasados. Es aún más intenso cuando pensamos en que las parejas (los miembros de la banda) estaban también separándose y en el vídeo musical vemos como Agnetha y Björn parecen muy distantes.

Existe también una versión en español de esta canción la cual se llamó 'Felicidad'. Es probable que más adelante, para el fin de este año 2023, esa sea una de las últimas canciones que intérprete de la banda. No me queda más que decirles que espero que tengan un grandioso año. Que hermosa interpretación, cautivado con ella, se siente un toque tan emotivo y profundo en tu hermosa voz, una belleza totalmente exquisita. Es realmente maravilloso pasar por aquí y más aún tener la oportunidad de escucharte.
