Otro día de ensayo musical 🎼🎵 ¿ABBA en un coro? [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community! Today I'm joining you here to share a new day in my life with you. On this occasion, I want to tell you about the last rehearsal we had this week in the choir. I hadn't had a chance to talk about it, but now I can finally do so. It turns out that the day before the Café Concert held on Friday, February 27, at Canticum Merú, we had our regular class for choir members, as usual. These are days of music and relaxation for me, because I feel like a student experiencing the excitement of learning something new.
That day I got a surprise because we were working on several pieces and suddenly my teacher told us that we would also be doing an ABBA song called "Thank You for The Music." It was great news because anyone who has known me for a long time here on the platform will know that ABBA is one of my favorite bands and I have done several covers that I have uploaded here on 3Speak. Singing ABBA songs was more out of love for their music and trying to pay tribute, but now it's getting very serious.

En esta ocasión, quiero contarles como fue el último ensayo que tuvimos está semana en el coro. No había tenido momento de poder hablar de ello, pero ahora mismo por fin puedo hacerlo. Resulta que un día antes del Café Concert que se celebro el viernes 27 de febrero en el espacio de Canticum Merú, tuvimos cómo siempre la clase regular para los miembros del coro. Son los días de música y relajación para mí, porque me siento cómo una estudiante que vive la emoción de aprender algo nuevo.
Ese día me lleve una sorpresa porque estábamos trabajando en varias piezas y repentinamente mi profesora nos dice que también haremos una canción de ABBA que se titula "Thank You for The Music". Fue una noticia estupenda pues para quién me conoce de hace tiempo aquí en la plataforma sabrá que ABBA es una de mis bandas favoritas y he hecho varios covers que he subido aquí en 3Speak. Cantar canciones de ABBA fue más por amor a su música y tratando de rendir un homenaje, pero ahora la cosa viene muy en serio.
Everyone in the group is excellent. They've been there for some time or have been with the choir since the beginning, so as I said a few days ago, I had to start working harder to be able to keep up with them, because otherwise, the flaws will be very noticeable when we sing in unison. In a choir, there must be uniformity, and for one person to stand out (for whatever reason) is not a good thing; it's not ideal. So that day, I sat down with a colleague to listen, listen, and listen. Just listen. Then I joined the group, but this time I was better prepared. Luckily, my string section leader is very kind and always shares her knowledge with her colleagues. I have learned a lot from her. Todas en el grupo son excelentes. Tienen ya cierto tiempo o están desde los inicios del coro, por lo que como dije hace unos días, debí comenzar a trabajar más duro para poder estar al nivel de ellos puesto que sino, entonces se notará muchísimo las fallas cuando cantemos al unisono. En un coro debe haber uniformidad y que una destaque (por la razón que sea) no es algo bueno, no es lo ideal. Así que ese día me puse con una compañera a escuchar, escuchar y escuchar. Solo escuchar. Luego luego si me uni al grupo, pero esta vez más preparada. Por suerte, mi jefa de cuerdas es muy amable y siempre comparte sus conocimientos con sus compañeras. He aprendido mucho de ella.
