Greetings to everyone in the Hive Open Mic community! After a long time, I'm joining you again to participate in the community's 268th contest. This week's theme is about choices, which is why I'm bringing you Sting's song, titled "Fields of Gold." From 1993 and part of the album "Ten Summoner's Tales," the song tells of a potential couple who find themselves experiencing a fervent and beautiful love, so here, amidst the emotions, they promise each other a long and lasting love. At the end of the song, there's a mention of some children running through the same barley field where the couple who promised each other true love forever (for life) once stood. This is how the element of choice makes sense, choosing the one they love and deciding that this union will be eternal, no matter the cost. One of this musician's most beautiful songs, and I believe it's also one of the most moving regarding romance. I like it quite a bit, so I've been wanting to release it for a while, but I've been waiting for the right moment to do so. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Luego de un largo tiempo, me uno nuevamente por aquí para participar en el concurso número #268 de la comunidad. El tema de esta semana es sobre las elecciones, es por ello que traigo la canción del músico Sting, la cual se titula "Fields of Gold". Del año 1993 y perteneciendo al álbum "Ten Summoner's Tales", la canción nos habla sobre una posible pareja que se encuentra viviendo un ferviente y bello amor, por lo que aquí, en medio de las emociones, se prometen un amor largo y duradero. Al final de la canción se hace mención de algunos niños corriendo sobre el mismo campo de cebada dónde una vez estuvo la pareja que se prometió amor verdadero por siempre (para toda la vida). Es así, cómo toma sentido el factor de la elección, el elegir al ser amado y decidir que esa unión será eterna, cueste lo que cueste. Una de las canciones más bellas de este músico y que creo es también una de las más conmovedoras con respecto al romance. Me gusta bastante por lo que tenía bastante tiempo queriendo sacarla pero buscando el momento oportuno para ello. Sin más que decir, espero la disfruten y muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
