Guayana una voz: ensayo en Canticum Merú 💓 [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community; today I’m joining you to share a new day in my life. Several things have happened that I’d like to talk about here, but before diving into all that, I want to mention that I’ll be taking a few days to organize my posts so I can share the stories of the various adventures I’ve experienced over the last few months. So much has happened, and it would be a shame to let those moments slip by due to a lack of time or space on the platform—since I usually post only once a day. Right now, that’s all the time I have. So, with that said, let’s get started. This is how part of my Thursday went.
That day, I spent some time with the children at the school where I work. It was a lovely farewell—fitting and necessary—because after a whole year together, it was important to have some closure. Plus, the children (and I, too) needed to feel that the year was recognized and valued by the school, their teacher, and their parents. It was also part of a healthy reintegration into the activities they used to do before the earthquake. On another note, we had choir practice today to rehearse the repertoire for upcoming concerts and masses aimed at showing solidarity with the situation in Venezuela. You could say that through the arts, we are offering strength, love, and optimism to our people.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle, el dÃa de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo dia en mi vida. Han pasado varias cosas de las cuales deseo hablar por aquÃ, pero antes de poder empezar con todo ello, quiero informar que tomare algunos dÃas para poder ordenar las publicaciones y poder hacer la publicación correspondiente a cada aventura vivida durante estos últimos meses. Realmente son muchas cosas que han pasado y serÃa una lástima dejar pasar todos esos momentos por falta de tiempo o espacio dentro de la plataforma pues yo suelo publicar diariamente... solo una vez por dÃa y no más de allÃ. Y bueno, ahorita mismo solo he tenido el tiempo para ello y no más. Asà que dicho esto, ahora sà comencemos. Este fue parte de mi dÃa jueves.
Para ese dÃa tuve el compartir con los niños en el colegio en el cual trabajo. Fue una despedida muy bonita, justa y necesaria pues tras todo un año juntos, era importante tener un cierre. Además de que los niños (tanto como yo), necesitan en cierta forma sentir que todo este año fue reconocido y valorado por el colegio, su profesora y sus padres. También como parte de una integración sana a las actividades que ellos realizaban antes del terremoto. Por otra parte, hoy tuvimos ensayo del coro, justamente con motivo de poder ensayar el repertorio para los próximos conciertos y misas que tienen como objetivo acompañar y solidarizarnos con la situación que se está viviendo en Venezuela. Digamos que a través de las artes, rendimos fuerzas, amor y optimismo a nuestra gente.
Today was wonderful. We sang songs for the mass and worked a bit on the music for the concert—which is, in fact, a tribute related to what I mentioned earlier. The concert material has a more cheerful tone; for instance, we’re singing lullabies by Modesta Bor that are aimed at children and have a sweet, charming, and joyful feel. We’re continuing to work on it, and we’ll be singing at mass tomorrow. That’s all for today; thank you so much for stopping by.
Hoy fue muy bonito. Cantamos canciones para la misa y un poquito más de aquellas que se necesitarán para el concierto que en realidad es un tributo a lo comentado arriba. Ese último tiene un carácter más alegre. Por ejemplo, con canciones de cuna de Modesta Bor que son dirigidas a un público infantil y tienen un tono dulce, encantador y alegre. Seguimos trabajando en ello y ya mañana tendremos la misa donde cantaremos. Esto ha Sido todo por hoy, sin más que decir, muchÃsimas gracias por pasar por aquÃ.
