Ensayo coral para "Guayana una sola voz" 🎹🌟 [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m joining you here to share a new chapter in my life with you. On this occasion, I’d like to talk about today’s rehearsal, which was held in preparation for tomorrow’s performance at the Nazareth School Chapel. Our goal is to bring music to everyone in Ciudad Guayana, to offer a prayer, and to raise donations for those affected by the disaster. For those of you here in BolÃvar State, please know that several families have already settled in and need our help. At the Nuestra Señora de Coromoto Church (El Los Olivos, Puerto Ordaz), they are accepting donations—especially supplies such as basic necessities, hygiene products, and everyday items. They no longer need clothing, as their priorities have shifted.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El dÃa de hoy me uno por aquà para compartir con ustedes un nuevo dÃa en mi vida. En esta ocasión me toca hablar del ensayo del dÃa de hoy, el cual fue realizado con motivo de la presentación del dÃa de mañana que tendremos en la Capilla del Colegio Nazareth con el objetivo de llevar música a todos en Ciudad Guayana y asÃ, alzando una oración y también para recaudar donativos para las personas damnificadas. Que para quién se encuentre aquà en el estado BolÃvar, sepa que ya varias familias se encuentran instaladas y requieren de nuestra ayuda. En la iglesia Nuestra Señora de Coromoto (el los olivos, Puerto Ordaz) están recibiendo las donaciones y sobre todo, suministros cómo productos de primera necesidad, de higiene y del dÃa a dÃa. Ya no están necesitando ropa pues las prioridades ahora son otras.
As I mentioned above, we’re meeting today to rehearse the repertoire we’ll be singing tomorrow. It’s a sacred repertoire that includes lullabies. I’ve mentioned some of the songs before, but I haven’t revealed others, and I think it’s best to keep it that way—both to provide a nice surprise and to maintain a bit of privacy for the choir. Not because it’s wrong to share information about the songs, but because sometimes performances require a certain degree of privacy—or it’s simply a requirement. However, whenever possible, I try to share some of the songs we’ll be singing or any news about the choir, as long as I have permission to do so. Other times, it’s simply a matter of common sense: sometimes yes, sometimes no.
On another note, four choirs will be performing—three of them children’s choirs—and then we’ll take the stage. It will be early in the afternoon, and we hope to give it our all. This is our second performance since the tragedy of the twin earthquakes in Venezuela. Today we sounded pretty good—confident, careful, and in tune. I’m surprised at how much I’ve improved after all these months (when it comes to choral singing). Practice definitely makes perfect. Cómo les comentaba arriba, nos reunimos hoy para ensayar el repertorio que se cantará el dÃa de mañana. Un repertorio sacro y con canciones de cuna. Algunas canciones las he mencionado con anterioridad, otras no las he revelado y creo que serÃa oportuno que permaneciera asÃ. Cómo forma de dar una bonita sorpresa y también mantener un poco la privacidad del coro. No porque sea malo compartir información sobre las canciones, sino porque algunas veces las presentaciones suelen requerir de cierta privacidad o simplemente es una exigencia. Sin embargo,o en la medida de lo posible, intento compartir algunas de las canciones que vamos a cantar o alguna novedad del coro, siempre y cuando tenga el permiso para hacerlo. Otras veces simplemente es sentido común: que sÃ, que no.
Por otra parte, nos vamos a presentar cuatro coros, los cuales tres son infantiles y luego entramos nosotras. Será temprano en la tarde y esperamos poder dar lo mejor de nosotras. Es nuestra segunda presentación luego de la tragedia del doble terremoto en Venezuela. Hoy nos escuchamos bastante bien, con mucha seguridad, cuidado y afinadas. Me sorprende cómo he mejorado mucho después de todos estos meses (en lo relativo al canto coral). Definitivamente, la práctica hace al maestro. Finalmente, para quienes están aquà en el estado BolÃvar, los invito a asistir al Colegio Nazareth para disfrutar de la música y apostar esta causa. Un fuerte abrazo, Gracias por pasar por aquÃ.
