Hello, community of instrumental musicians, vocalists, composers and music lovers in general. We reach week 14 of the Vibes contest full of good vibes for all its participants... and of course, also for those who work to achieve its permanence over time.

This week the proposed theme is to perform songs from the discography of Sam Feldt, a Dutch DJ, record producer and businessman who achieved worldwide fame with his 2015 single "Show Me Love❤️", for which he received multiple platinum records, and who accepted the invitation – despite his multiple occupations – to be a judge of this contest this week 14.

By the way, the six finalists will be selected from those who perform his songs. This time I won't be able to follow the theme, but I wish luck and success to those who are going to interpret any of the suggested themes.

For my part, I bring to share with you the song “Today I spoke about you” that somewhat explores the theme of love that remains despite people separating and comes to endorse the theory that “in a relationship there is always one who loves more.” This song has been sung by various vocalists, but the versions that I liked the most have been that of the sisters Rosa Virginia Chacín and María Teresa Chacín.

Each one sang it as a soloist and I am sharing with you the video of María Teresa Chacín. Both sisters have very sweet voices, but while Rosa Virginia married just at the beginning of her artistic career, which she abandoned to dedicate herself to her family and household chores, María Teresa has remained active in cultivating the beautiful art of singing.

I hope you like my version that I made accompanying me playing the Venezuelan Cuatro and with the collaboration of a great friend on percussion: @orlandobello and while @sayury was in charge of recording, our friend @hermaryrc supported me with the choirs. The result is this team work that we hope you like.

Hola, comunidad de músicos instrumentistas, vocalistas, compositores y de melómanos en general. Llegamos a la semana 14 del concurso Vibes lleno de buenas vibraciones para todos sus participantes… y por supuesto, también para quienes trabajan para lograr su permanencia en el tiempo.
Esta semana la temática propuesta es la de interpretar canciones de la discografía de Sam Feldt, DJ, productor discográfico y empresario holandés que alcanzó fama mundial con su sencillo de 2015 "Show Me Love❤️", por el que recibió múltiples discos de platino, y quien aceptó la invitación – a pesar de sus múltiples ocupaciones – para ser juez de este concurso en esta semana 14. Por cierto que los seis finalistas serán seleccionados entre quienes interpreten sus canciones.

Yo por esta vez no podré plegarme a la temática, pero deseo suerte y éxito a quienes vayan a interpretar alguno de los temas sugeridos. Por mi parte, traigo para compartir con ustedes la canción “Hoy hablé de ti” que un poco explora el tema del amor que permanece a pesar de que las personas se separen y viene a refrendar la teoría aquella de que “en una relación siempre hay uno que ama más”.

Esta canción ha sido cantada por diversos vocalistas, pero las versiones que más me han gustado han sido la de las hermanas Rosa Virginia Chacín y María Teresa Chacín. Cada una la entonó como solista y yo estoy compartiendo con ustedes el video de María Teresa Chacín.
Ambas hermanas tienen unas voces muy dulces, pero mientras Rosa Virginia se casó apenas al inicio de su carrera artística la cual abandonó para dedicarse a su familia y a los quehaceres del hogar, María Teresa se ha mantenido activa en el cultivo del bello arte del canto.
Espero les agrade mi versión que realicé acompañándome tocando el Cuatro venezolano y contando con la colaboración en la percusión de un gran amigo: @orlandobello y mientras @sayury se encargó de grabar, nuestra amiga @hermaryrc me apoyo con los coros.
El resultado es este trabajo de equipo que esperamos sea de vuestro agrado.
