RE: 🎵 Radiant Gems from the Hive Open Mic 💎 Compilation #826

What a lovely compilation! 🎶 Congratulations to all five Radiant Gems, and a few words for each performance:
🪕 @ramonpaez, "Lo Que No Sirve Se Bota": an original piece with the folklore of the Venezuelan llano, played on a 32-string llanera harp. Bringing your own tradition to the Open Mic is a gift to the community. Bravo!
🎤 @encuentro, "Dejémoslo Así": welcome back after your break, Diego! It's great to see you return to this window where language is no barrier to music.
🎹 @favourstrings, "All Of Me": I loved how you described it as a "surrender song" rather than just a love song. Choosing a cover that comes straight from the heart is the best way to make it your own.
💛 @eudarcabello, "Besame": a perfect pick for the "Love Me Tender" theme, and I admire your wish to learn a ton of songs, one for every theme. Keep going!
🎶 @yoxibeth, "La Huella De Su Recuerdo": a tribute to a piece made famous by Cristóbal Jiménez, brought to Hive with feeling. Well done!
Thank you @cabelindsay and the moderators @mipiano, @fernanblog and @jesuslnrs for this weekly concert for peace. 🕊️ My question: do you already know the theme of the next Open Mic week? I'd love to know it in advance, in case I find the courage to join someday! 🎤

Greetings! And thank you so much for supporting our musicians with such a heartfelt message. Yes, the post announcing the new weekly theme goes up at the start of each week; there, you can also see the previous theme and the one for the upcoming edition. Here is the official post for this week:
https://peakd.com/hive-105786/@hiveopenmic/hive-open-mic-338-deja-vu-worldwide-live-music-event
You'll see there that the next theme is: 339: The Bad Times Will Pass. I hope you can join our weekly concerts—best regards!
Thank you so much for the clear answer, @jesuslnrs! 🙏 Now I know where to look every week: the announcement post at the start of the week, with the previous theme and the next one. "The Bad Times Will Pass" is a wonderful theme for week 339, full of hope, and I'm sure the musicians will do it justice. 🎶
I'll read this week's post and think seriously about joining a concert soon. A last question: do you accept any instrument and any genre, or are there categories that tend to do better? 🎸

You are free to express yourself through music however you wish. On Hive Open Mic, you can perform instrumental music, sing and play, sing a cappella, or perform accompanied by a backing track 😉
Thank you, @jesuslnrs, that's wonderfully open and encouraging! 🎶 Instrumental, singing and playing, a cappella, or with a backing track: there's really no excuse left! 😄 I'll try, I promise. And without fearing the judgment of @mipiano, I'll probably perform at the piano (a Yamaha Clavinova), with special effects! 😉🎹 I only need to choose a song and find the courage, and the courage is always the harder part. 🎤 I'll let you know when I have something to share.
Thank you again for your kindness and for all the work you do for the community!
