As a funny anecdote I tell you that once I was in a Discord program in which some Hivers shared our work within the platform and we also spent a nice time talking and singing. I remember that while I was waiting my turn to participate, I decided to practice this song while the others were talking, with confidence and inspiration that was suddenly interrupted when someone said: "You hear a person singing" Without knowing it was me who had left the microphone open, and that practice became a surprise presentation.

There are times when we can be so impressed with a piece of music that we immediately ask ourselves: Where did the composer come up with such a story? But this is usually more interesting and surprising at the same time when you feel that a song fits with part of your experiences. It's like feeling understood and supported at the same time, and therefore you feel comfortable to capture yourself in a music video that seems like a dedication that has been waiting for you for a long time.

Como anécdota graciosa les cuento que una vez me encontraba en un programa de Discord en el que algunos Hivers compartimos nuestro trabajo dentro de la plataforma y también pasamos un rato agradable hablando y cantando. Recuerdo que mientras yo esperaba mi turno para participar, decidí practicar esta canción mientras los demás iban hablando, con la confianza y la inspiración que de pronto se vió interrumpida cuando alguien dijo: "Se escucha a una persona cantando" Sin saberlo era yo quien había dejado el micrófono abierto, y aquella práctica se convirtió en una presentación sorpresa.

Hay ocasiones en las que nos podemos quedar tan impresionados con algún tema musical que inmediatamente nos preguntamos: ¿De dónde habrá sacado el compositor semejante historia? Pero esto suele ser más interesante y sorprendente a la vez cuando sientes que una canción encaja con parte de tus vivencias. Es como sentirse comprendido y apoyado a la vez, y por lo tanto te sientes con la comodidad de plasmarte en un video musical que parece una dedicatoria que hace tiempo esperaba por ti.

Like all songs, there are lines that simply leave me "hooked" on them. "He ran out of solitude to be with me" is one of those lines on which my thoughts sometimes rest, while I meditate on the determination of someone capable of giving up anything to be with that person he loves so much. Don't we all wish for a love like that? And when such determination comes from both people, the stories are usually as fantastic as unforgettable, as if it were the animated short film of your life and with the melody that only Ricardo Arjona knows how to express.

The lyrics of this song itself is not so long, but the essence of the message is compensated in every word of it. The story itself shows more than what at first glance could be understood, and in my opinion I think that to capture the message perfectly it has to be this way, synchronizing the song and the animation through a video that is all a pearl that shines with excellence. "El cielo a mi favor" is like a piece of that beautiful movie in which you not only want to be the protagonist, but you also want to admire next to that person for whom you too would be able to give the sky even if it seems absurd or impossible to others.

Como todas las canciones, hay frases que simplemente me dejan "enganchado" a ellas. "Se quedó sin soledad para estar conmigo" es una de esas líneas en las que a veces mis pensamientos reposan, mientras medito en la determinación de alguien capaz de renunciar a cualquier cosa con tal de estar con esa persona a quien ama tanto. ¿Acaso no todos deseamos un amor así? Y es que cuando dicha determinación viene de ambas personas, las historias suelen ser tan fantásticas como inolvidables, como si se tratara del cortometraje animado de tu vida y con la melodía que solo Ricardo Arjona sabe expresar.

La letra de esta canción en sí misma no es tan larga, pero la esencia del mensaje se compensa en cada palabra que la compone. La historia misma muestra más de lo que a simple vista se podría comprender, y en mi opinión creo que para captar el mensaje de manera perfecta tiene que ser de esta forma, sincronizando la canción y la animación a través de un vídeo que es toda una perla que brilla con excelencia. "El cielo a mi favor" es como un trozo de esa hermosa película en la que no solo quieres ser el protagonista, sino que también deseas admirar junto a esa persona por la cual tú también serías capaz de dar el cielo aunque a otros les parezca absurdo o imposible.
