"Enamorado de ti" (Luis Silva)

Desde mi punto de vista, Luis Silva aborda la música criolla con un estilo totalmente diferente al de Reynaldo Armas, lo cual le da ese toque de originalidad que le permite brillar a través de todos sus temas. La sensibilidad y el romance se palpan en cada frase de cada canción, despertando sentimientos y sueños con la singular melodía que el arpa y el cuatro hacen navegar en nuestra mente y nuestro corazón. Esa combinación de música llanera al estilo romántico no es nada aburrida, y basta escuchar un tema como este para saborear esa dulce sensación que Luis Silva sabe transmitir para el deleite y disfrute de quienes amamos la música. Siendo tan niño, yo solía confundir esta canción con otro tema de Luis Silva llamado "Como no voy a decir", sobre todo al inicio del tema, pero luego con el tiempo logré identificar ambas canciones que son muy buenas y que junto al tema "Enfurecida" se ganaron un lugar entre mis temas preferidos.

From my point of view, Luis Silva approaches criollo music with a style totally different from that of Reynaldo Armas, which gives him that touch of originality that allows him to shine through all of his songs. Sensitivity and romance are palpable in every phrase of every song, awakening feelings and dreams with the unique melody that the harp and the cuatro make sail in our minds and hearts. That combination of llanera music in a romantic style is not boring at all, and it is enough to listen to a song like this one to savor that sweet sensation that Luis Silva knows how to transmit for the delight and enjoyment of those of us who love music. As a child, I used to confuse this song with another song by Luis Silva called "Como no voy a decir", especially at the beginning of the song, but then with time I managed to identify both songs which are very good and which together with the song "Enfurecida" earned a place among my favorite songs.

Esta canción tiene una historia especial que data desde mi infancia. Resulta que en una fiesta en la finca de mi padrino fue donde escuché por primera vez este tema, ocasión en la que un amigo de la familia al escucharla sonar empezó a cantar con mucho sentimiento. Realmente como niños nosotros no estamos pendientes de razones ni motivos, pero lo cierto es que luego de aquella experiencia cada vez que escuchaba esta canción, automáticamente venía a mí el recuerdo de aquel hombre cantando sin pena y con mucha inspiración. "Dame tu amor" era una especie de himno que cada mañana estaba presente en los programas mañaneros que mi mamá solía escuchar mientras nos preparaba a mí y a mis hermanos para enviarnos al colegio.

This song has a special story that dates back to my childhood. It turns out that at a party at my godfather's farm was where I heard this song for the first time, occasion in which a friend of the family when he heard it started to sing with great feeling. Really as children we are not aware of reasons or motives, but the truth is that after that experience every time I heard this song, automatically came to me the memory of that man singing without sorrow and with great inspiration. "Dame tu amor" was a kind of hymn that every morning was present in the morning programs that my mother used to listen to while she was preparing me and my brothers and sisters to send us to school.

Creo que en tiempos pasados el interés y la influencia de la música llanera eran más fuertes que lo que ahora vivimos. En mi caso, logré cultivar un buen gusto musical gracias a mi tío y a mi padrino quienes también sentían una fuerte inclinación por estas canciones, temas que hasta se relacionaban con programas y telenovelas, como fue el caso de la canción "Enfurecida" de Luis Silva. Las emisoras de radio estaban copadas de programas que servían de invitación a nuestros corazones para cada día desarrollar ese amor y ese cariño por la música que a la mayoría nos vió nacer y también crecer.

Estoy seguro que hoy, muchos de los que ya no están aquí en Venezuela se estremecen profundamente al escuchar estas canciones que remueven y tocan las raíces de nuestro corazón. Es una clase de sentimiento difícil de contener pues se basa en una fuerza materna que nos reclama y a la vez nos recuerda quienes somos y desde donde venimos. Porque en cada tema encontramos una razón contundente para afianzar ese amor que jamás se podrá apagar dentro de nosotros estemos donde estemos ❤️

I believe that in times past the interest and influence of llanera music was stronger than what we live now. In my case, I managed to cultivate a good musical taste thanks to my uncle and my godfather who also felt a strong inclination for these songs, themes that were even related to programs and soap operas, as was the case of the song "Enfurecida" by Luis Silva. The radio stations were full of programs that served as an invitation to our hearts to develop every day that love and affection for the music that most of us were born and grew up with.

I am sure that today, many of those who are no longer here in Venezuela shudder deeply when listening to these songs that stir and touch the roots of our hearts. It is a kind of feeling difficult to contain because it is based on a maternal force that claims us and at the same time reminds us of who we are and where we come from. Because in each song we find a strong reason to strengthen that love that can never be extinguished within us wherever we are ❤️
