🎵 “Right Inside” (Original) - Live Music for Hive Open Mic 146
Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) is a global community celebrating live music on Hive. Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.
Have you ever stopped to wonder about how everything in the world is connected? Take the environment, for example. We might think of the environment as something separate from us, but in reality, we're a part of it. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat - all of it is part of us. Our actions have an impact on the environment, and the environment has an impact on us.
Everything is connected. Our thoughts, our emotions, our relationships, our communities—they're all connected too. It's like a giant web of interconnectedness, where we are spiders, weaving our threads.
Knowing we belong to something colossal, it's easy to feel small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. But at least we're not alone. We all have a role, and we all have the power to make a difference. Every time we make a conscious effort to reduce our impact on the environment, or to be kind to someone, or to make a positive change in our community, we're adding to the interconnected web of positivity and making the world a better place.
That's why this song is one of my favorites, because it sends a love ripple through the web of interconnection. The message is a positive affirmation: "Everything is right inside. All is right. All is well." As a reminder, the idea behind positive affirmations is simple: you repeat a positive statement, over and over again, until it becomes a belief. It's like programming our brains to think a certain way.
Today, for the 146th Hive Open Mic, I am taking a moment to contemplate the interconnectedness of everything and to remember that our actions and choices have a ripple effect. Our theme this week is: "La Unión," chosen our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @elioe.

With your initial question you made me remember a video I saw recently about how small we are not only before our mother earth, but before the galaxy in general because they talked about a star within a system of very small planets where its size was almost 10 times the size of the Sun, can you imagine that? as a species we have the power to connect with what is outside of us, that is incredible and that helps to understand more the nature of what exists... starting from this premise, why is it so difficult for us to live in peace on a planet that was given to us to dignify it, honor it and leave it as a legacy to future generations?
It is a question that at some point will answer itself; we have advanced, but while that happens other important things are forgotten; most people focus on what social networks put in trend, one day something is important the other day it is not and in this daily life that apparently is something that should unite us with solid and human criteria, there are even deeper differences... what happens is that the absurd is normalized and not the vital that is life and any living form!!!
Without being exaggerated dear brother, this community has what the world lacks; you as an artist, person and visionary know it, that is why here the union will always be imminent.... God bless this space always to interconnect us more and more and to transcend with music to many more souls 🙏🌎🌍🌏🕊️☮️💖!!!!

I find it interesting what you say about repeating over and over again those affirmations that come loaded with positivism, that way we program ourselves and leave aside the sorrows with which we are usually bombarded.
Yes, definitely. I think you're right that positive affirmations are a way of programming ourselves. It's true that there are other programs, like commercial advertisements trying to persuade us in one way or another. So I imagine it really is necessary in our world for us to choose new programs that keep us aligned with our visions and desires for life.
