La lucha constante:
Reflexiones desde el alma de una letra

Sometimes, life feels like a race without a finish line, like chartering a ship that is shipwrecked before it reaches port. That is the feeling this powerful lyric conveys, one that resonates with many of us who, day after day, put in our effort, our dedication and our desire only to face a reality that seems unfair.
It is hard to work seriously, to give everything and feel that the universe, in its whim, does not reward us as we expected. How many times have we felt like sending it all away, to turn off the noise of the world and simply rest? How many times have we wanted to be immune to the pressures, like a dog that only lives in the present?
This lyric speaks of tiredness, but also of humanity. The tiredness of hitting the same wall over and over again. Of acting as expected of us, only to fall again. Of starting from scratch, over and over again, hoping that this time it will be different. It is the story of a struggle that many of us share, that of dreaming high, flying and then returning to the ground.
We are faced with daily challenges: working hard and not enjoying the fruits, living from day to day, making ends meet, and keeping our “fuel” in reserve so as not to fall apart completely. And although there are always voices that tell us that it is a matter of time, we also know that luck plays a role that we cannot ignore.
This reflection leads me to ask myself: What if our time has come and we did not know how to see it? What if those small steps we take, even if they seem empty, are part of the road to something bigger? It's true, we face so many bangs, so many challenges, that sometimes we feel like wounded animals, reacting from pain.
But there is also strength in these words. Strength to recognize that we are alive, that we feel and that we keep trying. That even though sometimes we want to give up, we don't quite give up. And in that, in that resistance, there is something hopeful. We are still here, still fighting!
This lyric is a cry, an outpouring and a truth. It is a reminder that we are not alone in this journey and that our struggles, though individual, are also shared. And maybe, just maybe, there is a greater purpose waiting at the end of the road.
This song that I share today has a very special meaning for me. It is a cover of an artist who deeply influenced my mood and my way of looking at life in difficult times. It also marks an important moment in my career: it is the first time I upload a song sung by me after more than 10 years without publishing anything as a singer. During all this time, I have dedicated myself to music production for independent artists, helping others to bring their projects to life. But this is a return to my roots, to what moved me to love music from the beginning.
"Que duro es corre y no llegar
fletar una nave y naufragar
haciéndolo bien y serio
poniendo todo el empeño
quebrándote del esfuerzo
y que no sirva para na
injusta la realidad que a veces
premia sin trabajar
capricho del universo
dan ganas de ser un perro
mandarlo todo a paseo y que te
deje el mundo en paz
cansado de chocarme contra la pared
cansado de actuar como se presupone
bien
cansado de volar para luego caer
cansado de empezar de cero una
y otra vez
cansado de guisármelo y no comer bien
cansado de encontrarme
siempre pan de ayer
cansado de llegar justito a finde mes
cansado de tener siempre en reserva
el fuel.
habrá quien diga que es cuestión de
tiempo pero la suerte un firme
argumento
quizá no llegue nunca mi momento
quizá llego y no supe verlo
son tantos flecos tantos desafíos
para volverme de vacío
que ha llevado a comportarme
como un animal herido."
