Do you remember their name? I'd be interested to see if I know of them. You are probably right about Andy and the others. I think a lot of people just do it for fun knowing they will likely never make it big. The biggest band I can think of locally is probably Greta Van Fleet. They started right down the road in Frankenmuth. I kind of lost track of them after their first couple of albums, but I know they are still plugging along.

back in those days they were called "Slipknot" but had to change their name because another band emerged on the global scene that already had that name. I am sure you have heard of that band. They changed their name to Parmalee and while I don't really care for their sound, they have a strong following and a couple of hit songs.
Oh yeah, I know Parmalee. I never got the chance to see them, but I remember Feel Like Carolina. Good song!
