We All Live in a Yellow Submarine

🎶 In the tOoOwn, where I was born

Lived a man who sailed to sea 🎶

Well, it only took a little over 24 hours (not counting all of the breaks that were taken), but this colouring is finally done 🙏 Yes, I want to emphasize that I did not draw this, but all colour was done by me using pencil crayons and fine-tip markers.

While flipping through the pages of a colouring book, I came across this picture and was immediately struck with inspiration. A submarine, in the middle of trippy ocean waves -- how could I not create a piece to mimic the famous Yellow Submarine by The Beatles.

I decided to take inspiration from the music video, more specifically from the first 40 seconds of it. This scene in particular played a huge factor in the colour palette that I used. Some patterns were also taken from the fish 🐟

The towers of seaweed made up many individuals lines. From afar, it can be difficult to spot, but up close it really helps to make the picture pop!
