The music industry has changed in recent years, now the era of singles, which had its first stage many years ago at the very beginning of the recording industry, has re-emerged; but if singles used to coexist with long plays, now, in many cases, they replace them.
I believe full-length albums have virtues that go beyond the singles and give them a special value, and in this section I share long plays or full-length albums, which from my particular tastes, I consider valuable as a whole, and not only as a collection of singles. They are albums that can be enjoyed from beginning to end, and that are more than the sum of their parts, I hope you enjoy them.
La industria de la música ha cambiado en los últimos años, ahora ha resurgido la época de los singles, que tuvo su primera etapa hace muchos años ya, en los inicios mismos de la industria discográfica; pero si antes los singles convivían con los long play, ahora, en muchos casos, los sustituyen.
Yo creo que los discos de larga duración tienen virtudes que van más allá de los sencillos y les dan un valor especial, y en esta sección comparto discos de larga duración, que a partir de mis gustos particulares, considero que son valiosos como un todo, y no solo como una colección de sencillos. Son discos que pueden disfrutarse de principio a fin, y que son más que la suma de sus partes, espero los disfruten.

I met Polyphia with the album before this one, and my first impression of them was that musically and technically speaking they were impressive, but also that their music was niche, and not very accessible to the general public, but that has fortunately changed with this album.
First classified as a mix between progressive metal, hip hop and progressive rock, little by little they have evolved and in 'Remember That You Will Die' they have taken an important leap. Progressive metal is practically absent and they have mixed progressive rock, jazz, hip hop, electronic, pop, and even spanish guitar, in a style, that without betraying the essence of their sound, is much more accessible to any listener.
This is one of the albums I have listened to the most in the last two years, and I like it more and more with each listen. The mix of their two virtuous guitars, a bass that seems to weave between them, and a drum kit that mixes jazz and hip hop, seems to me simply unique, and if they continue as they have been doing so far, this is a group with a very promising future.
Conocí a Polyphia con el disco anterior a este, y mi primera impresión de ellos fue que musical y técnicamente hablando eran impresionantes, pero también que su música era de nicho, y no muy accesible al gran público, pero eso afortunadamente ha cambiado con este álbum.
Clasificados primeramente como una mezcla entre el metal progresivo, el hip hop y el rock progresivo, poco a poco han ido evolucionando y en 'Remember That You Will Die' han dado un salto importante. El metal progresivo prácticamente está ausente y han mezclado rock progresivo, jazz, hip hop, electrónica, pop, e incluso guitarra española, en un estilo, que sin traicionar su la esencia de su sonido, es mucho más accesible para cualquier escucha.
Este es uno de los discos que más he escuchado en los últimos dos años, y a cada escucha me gusta más. La mezcla de sus dos virtuosas guitarras, un bajo que pareciera tejerse entre estas, y una batería que mezcla jazz y hip hop, me parece simplemente única, y si siguen como hasta ahora estamos ante un grupo con un futuro más que promisorio.

The debut album by Alison Goldfrapp, known until recently only as Goldfrapp, is among my favorite albums, and I have to admit that when she released her next albums in a different style, I distanced myself from her and felt somewhat betrayed. However, little by little I discovered some of her songs from these albums, which I found truly remarkable, and let me see her experimental nature.
Owner of a privileged voice that she uses sparingly and in ways that are sometimes uncommon, but always beautiful, Alison Goldfrapp has earned with each album the respect of the medium, and the nickname of chameleon of electronic music, a genre around which practically everything she does revolves.
A few days ago she released 'The Love Reinvention', which is an extended version of 'The Love Invention', an album she also released this year. The album contains all the songs from 'The Love Invention' plus new versions of some of his songs, for a total of almost 2 hours and 37 minutes of music, distributed in 30 tracks. The album has really surprised me and has made me fall in love again with Goldfrapp, because without exception all their songs are excellent, it is truly a gem, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
El álbum debut de Alison Goldfrapp, conocida hasta hace poco solo como Goldfrapp, está entre mis discos favoritos, y tengo que reconocer que cuando sacó sus siguiente álbums con otro estilo, me aleje de ella y me sentí hasta cierto punto traicinado. Sin embargo poco a poco fui descubriendo temas suyos de estos discos que me parecieron verdaderamente notables, y me dejaron ver su naturaleza experimental.
Poseedora de una voz privilegiada que usa con mesura y de maneras a veces poco comunes, pero siempre hermosas, Alison Goldfrapp se ha ganado con cada álbum el respeto del medio, y el apodo de camaleón de la música electrónica, género alrededor del cual gira prácticamente todo lo que hace.
Hace unos días dio a conocer 'The Love Reinvention', que es una versión extendida de 'The Love Invention', disco que diera a conocer también este año. El álbum contiene todos los temas de 'The Love Invention' más nuevas versiones de parte de sus temas, para un total de casi 2 horas y 37 minutos de música, distribuidos en 30 tracks. El disco me tiene verdaderamente sorprendido y ha hecho que me enamore nuevamente de Goldfrapp, porque sin excepción todos sus temas son excelentes, es verdaderamente una joya, y espero lo disfruten tanto como yo.
