Annie Lennox & David Bowie - Under Pressure

As part of a tribute concert to the late lead singer of Queen, Freddy Mercury, we had the opportunity to hear many famous singers accompany the other members of the historic and iconic British band.
David Bowie was there to perform the duet he recorded with the band, 'Under Pressure', but this time without his friend Freddy, but accompanied by the unique and wonderful voice of Annie Lennox. This video not only shows his performance, but also one of the previous rehearsals, where if we pay attention we can see behind the scenes other famous participants of the concert.
Como parte de un concierto tributo al fallecido vocalista de Queen, Freddy Mercury, tuvimos la oportunidad de escuchar a muchos cantantes famosos acompañar a los demás integrantes de la histórica e icónica banda británica.
David Bowie estuvo ahí para interpretar el dúo que grabó con la banda, 'Under Pressure', pero esta vez sin su amigo Freddy, sino acompañado de la única y maravillosa voz de Annie Lennox. Este video no solo muestra su interpretación, sino también uno de los ensayos previos, en donde si ponemos atención podemos ver tras bambalinas a otros participantes del concierto.
Luke Combs & Tracy Chapman - Fast Car
Fast Car' was the song that made Tracy Chapman known more than 30 years ago. Her debut album was multi-award winning and catapulted what has so far been a successful career true to her principles.
Recently, country music singer Luke Combs recorded a cover of the song that reached number 2 on the charts, and at the recent Grammy Awards, he had the opportunity to perform it as a duet with Tracy Chapman herself. After the event, the original version reached the top of the charts after 36 years, a fact that is already part of music history.
'Fast Car' fue la canción que dio a conocer a Tracy Chapman hace más de 30 años. Su diso debut fue multipremiado y catapultó lo que ha sido hasta el momento una exitosa carrera fiel a sus principios.
Recientemente el cantante de música country, Luke Combs, grabó un cover del tema que logró llegar al número 2 en las listas, y en la reciente entrega de los Grammys, tuvo la oportunidad de interpretarla a dúo con la propia Tracy Chapman. Después del evento, la versión original llegó al primer lugar de las listas después de 36 años, un hecho que ya es parte de la historia de la música.
Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
Sometimes you have to let time pass to listen to a song again and realize how good it is. That happened to me with this video of Journey performing one of their classics, 'Don't Stop Believin'.
Recorded during the glory years of the band, we have in this video all the original members of Journey, including Steve Perry, and if we pay attention to all of them and the song, we can easily realize why it was an iconic band of the 80's, and why to this day they are a reference in the history of rock.
A veces hace falta dejar pasar el tiempo para escuchar una canción de nuevo y darse cuenta de lo bueva que es. Eso me pasó con este video de Journey interpretando no de sus clásicos, 'Don't Stop Believin'.
Grabado durante los años de gloria de la banda, tenemos en este video a todos los integrantes originales, de Journey, incluido Steve Perry, y si prestamos atención a todos ellos y a la canción, podemos darnos cuenta con facilidad de porque fuera una banda icónica de los 80's, y porque hasta el día de hoy son una referencia en la historia del rock.
Steven Tyler & Nuno Bettencourt - More Than Words
Extreme' was one of those bands that everyone expected more from, but never made the big leap that other bands of their time did. Their best known song is 'More Than Words', an acoustic song in which the guitar of Nuno Bettencourt, one of the best guitarists of his generation, is the main protagonist.
In this video we have him accompanied, not by Gary Cherone, vocalist of Extreme, but by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Personally I prefer the original version, but it's still interesting to hear Tyler interpret something different, and enjoy not only Bettencourt's guitar, but also his voice.
'Extreme' fue una de esas banda de la que todos esperaban más, pero nunca dio el gran salto que otras bandas de su época si dieron. Su tema más conocido es 'More Than Words', un tema acústico en que la guitarra de Nuno Bettencourt, no de los mejores guitarristas de su generación es gran protagonista.
En este video lo tenemos acompañado, no por Gary Cherone, vocalista de Extreme, sino por Steven Tyler de Aerosmith. En lo personal prefiero la versión original, pero no deja de ser interesante escuchar a Tyler interpretar algo diferente, y disfrutar no solo de la guitarra de Bettencourt, sino también de su voz.
