Yes, Music!
I have a hard time deciding which is my biggest hobby.
"More hobbies means more weapons against boredom!"
So said a man not too wise but who seems to have lived long enough to come to this conclusion... namely me.
Music and film are fighting for supremacy. If when I was young I could quickly respond by choosing the film, even if my head was full of music, now things have changed and music has remained just as important. The passion for cinema, though great, has lost some of the intensity from my youth. The paradox is that now that I have access to many more films, even from home, I watch less and less...
Yes, I have decided. Music is the most important hobby I have. It's normal after all, I think that for other hobbies I allocate certain periods and music is with me almost all the time. Many times I dream that I listen to music, and many times I fall asleep with headphones on my ears and music flows in me even if I sleep.
Yes, music!
Classical music, country music or rock and roll, what's your preference and why?

I found this good question yesterday which is not easy because of this little "why?"
I never asked myself this question before. I was glad I liked music and could listen to what I liked. It wasn't always easy for me to find music I liked.
I think and realize that I like music in general, almost all genres. The music is one of the most wonderful gifts humans have been given. I don't know where I got it from, I don't even want to research that and I'm just glad I didn't refuse that gift!
I still have to choose my favorite genre of music and now I realize it's not as hard as I thought. My favorite genre is the one I listen to the most...
Rock and Roll!
Rock and Roll in its extended form, including pop, blues, and all derivatives.
Why?
Here comes the hard part, especially since I'm not in a good mood for research and justification right now.
I think it all comes from the evolution of things and events. I remember when I started listening to music applied, not just as a background, in my childhood, to Italian light music, in the 60s of the last century. I'm sorry to say again that I lived in a communist country where Western culture was not exactly forbidden, but very little accessible.
Domenico Modugno and Adriano Celentano were my favorite singers back then. Few of dozens of good Italian singers.
After I grew up, I migrated to French music. As a teenager, I was a French cinema and music fan: Jacques Brel, Michel Polnareff, Julien Clerc.
In high school, I also happened to reach for the music that will remain a lifelong favorite. It all started with the first Beatles song I ever heard!
Beatles
...and then so many...
Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...
I listened to music out of passion, pleasure, snobbery, and because it was recommended to me by friends. I didn't understand why I liked certain singers, composers, and genres. I listened to a lot of music. Now I listen to even more music. Music accompanies me in everything I do. When I work, when I relax, when I walk, and always when I blog here.
When I started writing I decided to put a song here, a video, not just links to songs I like. I think a video is necessary for this kind of blog, even if many don't agree with using YouTube videos here. Although it was a tough choice, I decided what to put in this post.
Next to me goes YouTube Music, I listen to all kinds of playlists made for me, according to my preferences.
Was it a coincidence that the video I wanted to play and had to search for started playing on the screen?
Does it mean I made the right choice?
Black - Wonderful Life
I have listened to this song many times. Melodious, beautiful, but that's about it. I found it too soft and simple.
Listening to it now gave me immense pleasure, excitement, and a great zest for life.
I understood what real music is and what it should produce.
I can't believe it!!!! The song in the video is one of my favorites!!!! I love that song! And the artists you mentioned too, many of their songs fascinate me!!! Super cool post!😍
"More hobbies means more weapons against boredom!"
I like that saying ! I spent a lot of time wondering what important things I should be doing, instead of focusing on having hobbies to take up all that time. It didn't seem like that is what I was looking for, but maybe it was and I just couldn't grasp it mentally.
I'm working on that now though and it's making me a lot happier.
I love dandelions, so your photo drew me right in.
In my life, music would win over films every time, well, if I had to choose. Why? I don't know and I'm glad I don't really have to figure it out. :)
I think the music has no rival. It's for life, while other hobbies can be fleeting.
