Speed (1)

I have been passionate about photography since my youth, I can say I was passionate about photography even before I had a camera. In the years when I started to understand that photography is an art more than a craft, around the 1970s, it was hard to buy a camera... "hard" meant expensive.

Whoever is "newer" to this world, after the appearance of smartphones, I don't think can understand this!

Now, with a phone in your hand, you can take pictures around the clock, day and night, as long as the storage space and battery of your phone are sufficient. Now I'm used to taking pictures all the time, wherever I go (or stay).

I'm making a confession now and I hope the traffic police in my country don't read this post. I took pictures with my phone and while driving the car! An action was forbidden by the highway code.

I agree that it is dangerous to use any smartphone while driving as it affects the driver's attention. I do not do this frequently. It was a boring trip and in less crowded places I took a few snapshots. The quality of the photos is not great, of course.

I like to take (photographic) proof of all the places I've been. That's what I consider these photos from my trip from Bucharest to Iasi, about 400 km. In Romania.

This happened in the autumn, of a few years ago. A final search through the photo folders found these too. I thought they were worth putting here, in the idea that there aren't many of this kind to see here.

I named the post "Speed" because I think the first photo expresses speed.

Now I think a little music would be nice!

Music is part of our lives, perhaps even more than we can imagine. I can't imagine my life without music. In this idea, I thought I would put the music ( #myfavoritemusic ) That comes to my mind while writing. It may or may not be related to the blog topic. All I wish is that you will enjoy listening while reading. Maybe to surprise you with a song you don't know.

More than that...

To make it a little riddle and invite you to try to guess.
I'll give a few little hints!

  • Today's song is so predictable that I think you'll guess it without the slightest indication!

Listen to the song HERE!

The speed of the car (not too fast!), and the movement of the hand holding the phone made this landscape flow.

I named the post "Speed(1)" because there are still a few photos left from this trip, enough to fit in a new post.

I used these photos not only because of the unusual way I took them but also because I wanted to show some images from my country, Romania. A country with a relief varied and interesting enough to arouse the desire to be visited!

Glad to hear that. The road to Iasi, between Barlad and Iasi.

I like creating post from older photos as long as I remember how the day was and what I did then :)

I should probably pick up your post and show it to the authorities.. lol...Just kidding

It's amazing how many memories we can store in our devices these days. So it's a pleasure to follow you up on all of your memories.
