Our Everyday Green

(Edited)

Green, as much green as possible. Green is said to soothe and calm. I feel like I need more and more green..., does that mean I'm anxious and need a calming?

Or, worse, I feel it's time to get used to green. In my religion, it says that after death we will end up in a place with lots of green, I guess heaven is with green, and the other, opposite side is full of red, red from the fire. Anyway, I'm sticking with the get-used idea, although I wouldn't want the moment of passage to be too close.

Speaking of getting used, there's a joke...

A doctor advises an incurably ill patient, after telling him he has only months to live, to pack mud. The patient, astonished, asks the doctor why he makes this recommendation, is this a miracle cure?
The doctor replies that no, it is not a treatment that will make him well but will get him used to ... the ground!

I like to listen to music while I am working on something, at this moment I am writing and the above thoughts led me to the moment of parting with this life.

What a pleasant coincidence!

Right now I'm listening to a song by Michel Polnareff that says we're all going to heaven. How nice!

I think it's worth listening to, it's encouraging...

Coming back to our sheep, there is also a saying that means that after digressions we should return to the point we started from.

The point is that I need green.

I found green, a green by the water, a more intense green...

I found a beautiful spot, a small lake covered with large round lotus leaves, a place where the trees on the shore bend their branches to the surface of the water.

I think I will have the greenest photos!

In summer there is a sea of pink. White-pink. When the lotuses are in bloom. There are some strange shapes left of the flowers, like little parabolic antennae. It's the fruit.

Where there is green and where there is water there must be life, right? Life came from water, as far as I know (from others!).

I was also happy to see a little wildlife, little creatures enjoying the soft autumn sun.

Even the slow turtles seemed to me more stingy and faster, especially in the water. They're enjoying themselves while they still have time, soon winter will be here and the whole landscape will change.

You probably thought I was one of those happy people who live in the middle of nature, or at least near it. Not so, I had to climb down concrete stairs to get there!

Because what you see is just a park, a small park, with a small lake in the middle, a park located in a big city. With all the city's hard to bear. Congestion, noise, dust, and pollution. Asphalt and concrete. You can see the blocks that line the "banks" of the park.

I remember now what Simon & Garfunkel said in a beautiful song(El Condor Pasa). "I'd rather be a forest than a street...", that's right, I'd rather be a forest too. And I'm content with this little park full of beauty. Circus Park in Bucharest. Romania.
Listen, please, to the song!

El Condor Pasa

I started writing this post with the thought of a walk, @tattoodjay and his wonderful community of walkers, but time doesn't always keep up with me, actually me with it, I got tangled up in chores and problems and ended up posting way too late.

Green is always pleasant to the eyes especially when it has to do with nature. You got nice photos, the leaves on top of the river looks like someone decorated them there for something☺️

Just as we know that the leaves are green, the trees are green, there is much joy in seeing the natural scenery. All these places looks so beautiful.

There are beautiful places that we need in the city to remind us of the beauty of nature.

Nature and it's lush green has a thing it does to me. And when it's captured like this I fall in love more with it. Nice pictures.
