Just undelegated all accounts that @blocktunes was delegating starter HP to. Our signup system has been getting abused and one of the accounts were flagged by @hivewatchers
We want real musician accounts signing up. So I am turning off the sign up until I can figure it out...
We are open to suggestions on how to stop the abuse but offering the ability to get free accounts on Hive... The only thing that comes to mind is charging for accounts, and that's not very new user friendly. So let us know what you think!
TBH I dont think free accounts are good, everyone can afford a Hive account now. Is mostly the lack of knowledge on how to give you those 0.15 cents for an account.
The biggest problem with the whole 3 Hive thing isn't the money part is the fact that the person needs a Hive wallet to get the 3 Hive to create the account, lol. It's like the chicken in the egg kind of thing. I am considering just doing something like $1 accounts paid in BTC, USDT, USDC, etc and maybe delegate some extra Hive for longer to get them started so they can try and recoup that dollar over time. That's the only thing I can think of... I already have the payment rails to work with, it's just changing the sign up area to be a paid wall. Which sucks. But is what it is.
